I had an absolutely amazing experience with Joanna. From the easiness of scheduling, to her kindness, I would recommend her to everyone I know. The energy in her room feels very healing and there was a lot of thought and effort put into her space. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

Joanna is amazing. Not only is her treatment effective, she genuinely cares about you feeling better. As someone who wants to understand and have an active role in their care, Joanna has also been an excellent resource and always will explain what/why we are doing something (and integrating feedback if something isnt!) I highly recommend and cannot say enough good things about Joanna and her work.

Joanna is an amazing healer. She is extremely skilled in her art and provides more than just an acupuncture visit. She is deeply wise, compassionate and magically spiritually connected. Her space is welcoming and immediately grounds you. You will feel a strong loving and grounding energy the minute you walk in the door. I highly recommend!!

I was referred to Joanna at Gentle Heart Acupuncture by a close friend, and I have since referred countless others. I can't think of one single practitioner I've recommended as much as Joanna, and as a lot of other reviews mention, it's because she is beyond skilled in her practice. I came to Joanna with a lot of physical issues -- musculoskeletal, reproductive, and digestive. (I'd quickly realize nervous system was in need of attention as well.) It was relief to feel heard and seen by a practitioner, because my medical relationships haven't always felt caring or supportive. She takes your concerns seriously, and she offers up her knowledge, wisdom, and experience in way that feels encouraging and uplifting, not pressuring. Joanna has continued to treat my physical complaints, and she's also helped me greatly with my emotional health and wellness as well. I was always told meditation and mindfulness were important, but neither never felt manageable until Joanna started giving me recommendations. Working with her has been a gift -- a true mind/body experience. And while that's been my positive experience, Joanna is skilled and versed in a way where she can do as much or as little for you as you're comfortable. She won't push things on you -- ever. My husband was always nervous around acupuncture due to a past experience, and Joanna welcomed him in way that made him feel comfortable and heard. And now he's her monthly patient. I truly can't recommend her enough.
