First off, before my arrival, I got a text welcoming me and giving advice on how to park to avoid tickets during snow route clearing. Next they have key code doors so if you come late, you can still get in. You can text them, and actually get an answer, 24/7 Eric and his colleagues are organized and are willing to adjust to your last minute needs. Finally, and most important, is what a nice stay this is! It's more like a nice bed&breakfast, with interesting other guests to chat with, but with the privacy you want. The main floor is rustic with comfortable lounging, and some history on the walls. Sleeping was comfortable, quiet and cool. Great breakfast! Protein, granola and fresh fruit, not like the sugary breakfasts at some places. I've skied all over the world, and I would return to Elk Mountain Lodge if I was in this area again.

Love the EML! As a former long time Gunnison County resident, I have stayed at the EML before with family while this time around my girlfriend and I chose it again. This will likely be our choice of lodging when we return to my old college town....special shoutout to Erick and Doug for their friendliness and outstanding customer service as they let us leave a day early before our check-out and refunded that night too! Don't hesitate to stay at the EML!

I stayed here a couple of days before Christmas with my wife and our three children under 4 years old. Mark deserves a metal for how accommodating he was for me and my family. We really enjoyed our time in Crested Butte and attribute a lot of our good times to the friendliness of the staff members of this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The accommodations were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast. We will be back!
