      This commenter was welcomed into the home of a tenant as a roommate to help her pay rent. After a few months the tenant decided that she was not going to renew her lease and this roommate did not have adequate income to take over a new lease individually so the lease was not going to be renewed and 45 days notice was given. He was offered a refund of one month's rent to move out before the end of the month. He did not pay his share of the utilities, nor did he pay the final month's rent to his roommate. Essentially he took 6 weeks of free residence from the owner and tenant and felt that he had been wronged because the lease was not renewed.
