Good food in Cortez. Our waitress was very friendly. There was a box of trivial pursuit at every table. Also, our drinks were very good.

We attempted to eat dinner here the other night, but ended up leaving after 1 1/2 hours of waiting with just our sodas. We counted 6 couples at the booths, and we were the only 3 top. The bar was about 1/2 full. There were 2 waitresses on the restaurant side. After one hour of waiting, our waitress approached our table and told us that the kitchen was short staffed and it would be a while for our food. So after 2 other tables that came in after us were served, we decided to leave. The waitress was kind enough to charge us for our sodas ($9.66). We obviously wont be back as we were just traveling through the area anyways. Customer service and communication with your patrons is key, locals or not. Theres your tip.

We came in to have some lunch because we've been here before and it was good. This time the food was okay but the service was horrible. They sat us at a dirty table. Then forgot to put our appetizers in and checked on us maybe once. Normally I'm very understanding but there was a total of 3 customers.
