I live in Buffalo Highlands. My home is three years old. Front porch large areas of Spalling. Kevin in Warranty Dept says not covered. I have owned five houses Never had this happen. Poor workmanship ? Meritage cuts corners when building. . read yelp reviews etc See Consumer Affairs Complaints.

Warranty guys play favorites and the builders are greedy for money. Meritage homes sub contract their building like every other company. Except they are so greedy that they will find any reason to leave it up to the customer to pay for everything. I got my cabinets the wrong color, i paid to fix it. they gave me the wrong package for flooring and countertops. I paid for it. Lastly they built a porch OUT OF CODE....i have to pay for it. Dont buy from meritage. rentig is better than buying a house from them. I reccomend buying from Lenarr. They atleast listen to the buyers needs. Daniel (the guy from meritage warranty department) strikes me as a disguised racist. Have one conversation with him and if your has any type of ethnicity to it, Ill bet my paycheck he will give you a hard time. A bitter old white man looking to get a promotion from his company. Also there was a huge hole in my roof. I had to beg them to fix it
