I have worked with HCWS in the past, but I chose to use them for a new building that we are opening. I love that it's a Colorado Company, but what sold me was the service from Chad Tuttle. He patiently answered my questions and helped me find the most cost effective options for my building. He wasn't pushy or spoke poorly of competitors (as reps for other companies did). Healthcare Medical Waste Services has been contracted to remove our medical waste at CSU-Pueblo campus for several years. We've never had to contact them to find out when they will be coming to campus for pickups. The come on a regular basis (usually quarterly) to remove waste. They also coordinate with our Science programs and give them heads up when they will be here so they have plenty of time to get whatever waste they need picked up ready to go. They process all the paperwork required to dispose of hazardous materials. The office staff have always been very professional and way more than patient with us in getting invoices paid. There has been a lot of restructuring on campus, and sometimes it takes a little longer than normal to get PO's issued, checks cut, etc. I would highly recommend this company to handle any hazardous waste removal needs! Please clarify the nature of the service agreement before signing a contract with this business. Sales person did not inform that any agreement was for 5 years and cannot be modified.
