Took my Jeep Cherokee to get some aftermarket parts installed. They did an excellent job with installing all the parts and making my Jeep drive like it was brand new. They went above and beyond even fixing some broken throttle cable clips that I had broken and replaced with zip ties without me even asking. I will definitely be back for my next upgrade or repair.

Owner is a complete scam artist. Sold me a $4,500 Jeep that seemingly had no issues. Within the first week it ran out of oil on me. Since the owner said he would offer free repairs within 30 days, I messaged, texted and called him multiple times trying to get the Jeep fixed. I also showed up to his shop multiple times and nobody would answer the door although it seemed someone was inside. He didnt message me back until after the 30 days were up and told me it was my fault for not getting a hold of him within 30 days. When I explained my case, he simply said he was sick and not around his phone for a while. He still offered no compensation or time to fix the vehicle since my 30 days were up. The vehicle also had bald tires which I had to replace immediately. I was happy to do this if i wouldve gotten more then 6 weeks out of the Jeep. Now I spent $1000 on new tires and $4500 on a Jeep that doesnt work at all. HIGHLY recommend you spend your money elsewhere. They dont even have a shop to work on cars in and they get things stolen from them all the time. Hard to tell If the car you buy will even have all the parts its supposed to. Wouldve been very happy with this purchase if the owner had made things right after ignoring me for 30 days but instead he hid behind his policy that he lied about.

Bought a 2006 VW Jetta. You said "it's in perfect mechanical condition, It doesn't need a single thing done to it. it's got a new battery, newer tires, new brakes, new fluids, newer rotors, etc." The oil was never changed and I had to put 5 quarts in it. If you had changed the oil then you would have noticed that the oil pan has a major leak in it. The windshield washer fluid line was cut in half at the hinge of the hood and no washer fluid in it. The cv joint on the passenger side has to be replaced. The alignment was totally off on all 4 wheels. The air pressure on all the tires was from 12 to 15. It should be at 33. Did you not notice there was a 5 inch diameter bee hive in the seam of the trunk? As soon as I open the trunk I saw it. You and your mechanic know nothing about cars. I was lied to and was sold a LEMON that I am having to pay lots of money to fix now. Updated post. On 03/23/23 took my Jetta in to the dealer and they told me I need to replace the transmission now. I included a picture of the recommended service. No way am I going to pay this amount so now have to sell this POS LEMON you sold me.

Worst and most dishonest mechanics I have ever dealt with and got ripped off to boot. Took my car in for an oil leak and was getting ready to go on vacation so left a $200 deposit for parts and repairs to be COMPLETED. The idiots working on the SUV told me it was a CV shaft causing the oil leak on the rear of the motor. I have worked on many motors in my many years and a CV shaft does not cause oil to leak from the motor. They sent me picture of the front of the motor that had a little seepage, this ALSO was not what I brought the vehicle in to be done. I was sent an estimate that included a diagnostics charge of $100 and replacement of the CV shaft. We requested that they do nothing more to the vehicle. They then refused to give back the remaining part of the deposit " for to to be completed" that was not completed since I lost all trust in a place that was trying to charge me for repairs that had not been completed as I requested. Brian is an employee that should never be trusted.

Dante I hope you're doing well and the cars treating you better now. Yes, you're right I didn't answer my phone for a few days.. but that wasn't because I was sick, it was because you had called/texted me through your private Facebook account to my private FB account which I hadn't seen the messages on at the time because we weren't connected/friends.. I'm not sure if you remember since this was over a year ago, but I did offer to fix the vehicle for absolutely no cost to you(about a month later when you did finally reach out to me over my work phone) And when I did so, you refused to bring it by my dealership because you were scared to leave it at my shop overnight because we had a break in a few months prior to you purchasing it. You then texted me and asked me if I could send someone to your house (which was on a very steep hill) and I had let you know that I'd need the vehicle at my shop so we could use the tools and equipment we have there to diagnose it properly. A few days later in another text you asked me again if I was going to send someone over to your house, which is when I didn't text you back, I called you so I could reiterate in a different manner that you'd have to bring the vehicle to me, but since you didn't want to leave the vehicle with me for one day I wasn't sure what else I could do. Yes we did have a break in, I'm sorry that my shop getting broken into caused you the inconvenience, but I did let you know that if something were to happen that my insurance would cover it. I also let you know that since that break in, we had put up over a dozen LED lights, motion sensors, and cameras to deter thieves. Thankfully we haven't had a break in since back then (over a year ago) . Yes the vehicle only had about 20% tread left on the tires, which I had pointed out before you decided to purchase it. If there's anything you'd like to discuss, please reach out to me. Have a good day sir.

Eric this is Jacob, I had spoken with you just a few weeks ago about the vehicle when you came to get a new temp tag and you told me you were happy with the vehicle.. did this all happen within these last couple of weeks? I believe that you purchased it roughly 7 months ago. Regardless I'm very sorry that you ended up having these issues with it.. this business means everything to me and so do my customers. Could you give me a call so I could help remedy some of the issues at my own expense? I'd love to help you out.I can provide receipts for some of the work that we had done to it by "Johns centre" and get you a refund or have them complete some of the work that needs to be done. Please call me ASAP.- Jacob Harper, owner of The Local Automotive Group LLCContact # 808-551-4840 .
