Adult Protective Services

APS El Paso is terrible. The supervisors keep up unnecessary negativity. I worked through a program and because the supervisor (old African, mixed breed depressed woman, borderline racist who is an older white older woman)realized I was smarter than them, they made my time there difficult. They thought they were going to hold a position over my head and then give it to somebody else to hurt my feelings lol!! Yes they are that sadistic. They would do stuff like screen out assessments based on who wrote the report. Childish right?! They would challenge my ideas, but then turn around and use my training suggestions. Theyre relentless and that department needs a shake up , just look at the reviews. I found a job at a better more reputable county and get paid almost x2 as much as I would have made being a caseworker with them. Thank goodness they ran me off!!!

Made a complaint. They discovered abuse and exploitation and did nothing! My mother died a year later broke from exploitation, abuse and negligence!

Worst experience of my life! This agency does nothing to protect elderly people. My father now has no house, no cars, no money. They don't listen to the people who actually care. Total waste of tax payer money.

According to this APS Adult (Protective) Services you have to have some kind of mental problem or they won't help. Apparently you can be emotionally beat down. Financially beat down and physically beaten for years and they can't help. Don't waste your time expecting them to help. This agency is a total waste of tax payers dollars.
