        My elderly mom fell in March 2023, paramedics suspected a broken back. This hospital released her from ER saying she was fine and found nothing. Female, foreign sounding doctor said she couldnt do anything and said to put ice on head if needed. Fast forward to May 30, my mom has been screaming in pain. Finally took her to Memorial North and they found she had fractured vertebrae that had compressed. This is the 2nd horrible experience we have had at Penrose St. Francis.

        Just remember that to show appreciation for their nursing staff, this hospital solicited 400k for a new STATUE instead of bonuses for nurses, gifted nurses with PRAYERS, all the good that does. AND gave the nurses the opportunity to clean two of their campuses If they dont even care about their workers, how much do you think they care about you?

        I was extremely ill, in kidney failure. Was on the skilled unit. The nurses were absolutely wonderful. So was Dr. Robinson. The nurses were very busy, but I never had to wait for anything. I hit my button and they were there right away. Was there for 4 days. Thank you nurses and Dr. Robinson for your compassion and care.
