Banning Lewis Preparatory Academy

I went to this school the first year it opened and it was pretty bad. Im giving them slack for it being the first year it was open but it was so bad. They are so strict with uniforms, its ridiculous. Normally at BLRA the sixth graders would go on the outdoor Ed field trip but the 6 graders didnt go on the trip because the principal said its good to break traditions and when a teacher I had found a field trip that we could go on, the principal gave the field trip to the high schoolers. They also could not control the students. Toilets were constantly getting clogged and flooding. The school might be better now thats its been open for a couple of years but I still would go back to this school

Please do your research!! In the Charter Review published by D49, the BLA board is said to have misconduct and overall bad behavior. What a mess..these board members cant even step into classrooms to support our staff. Over 60 staff have left their positions in the past 2 years! RED FLAG! The head of ACCEL schools has been replaced twice and they cant get a principal to stay, how sad. The recent reports of RACISM is another scary fact that caused a protest in recent days. Do not believe the reviews from so called board members they dont want to believe there is a REAL reason for low reviews and no staff retention.

My family loves this school. We moved to this area to get our kids into Banning Lewis Ranch (BLRA) Charter schools. We are very happy with the education, staff, choir/band and sports programs. Our family likes it so much that my brothers kids have even moved to this school.
