Didnt have a good feeling when I dropped them off. Was told I couldnt leave their blanket and that I couldnt see where they would be keeping them. Anyone taking there loved pets wants to see where they are kept. No it doesnt cause the other animals there stress what it can do is relieve the stress of the ones dropping off. This gave me a bad feeling inside right off the bat but we were leaving for our trip the next morning. Was told they only feed them once a day at 11:00. I paid extra to feed them twice as what is what is normally done for dogs. Since they have been home they have been vomiting and have it loose stools. I have taken my dogs for years to another boarder who just recently closed and never had any issues with them being ill when I picked them up. It is not normal for your animal to experience vomiting and diarrhea, unless they picked up some illness. Makes me think the kennels were not keep clean. The biggest question from the kennel was what time are you going to pick them up so we can give them a bath My dogs were only there for 7days, there should have been no reason why they needed a bath unless they were in unclean conditions.

Boarding our dog for the first time was rough enough but to pick up our dog with feces in his coat was too much. Our pup smells absolutely horrible, has a large amount of feces on the side of his coat indicating he was possibly laying in it. Theres too much kennel competition in Colorado Springs for this to be remotely acceptable thus well obviously not return. I understand why our dog was pulling so hard to get out of the facility. Edit: to the facility responding saying our dog wasnt picked up at 7:30am is a blatant lie. I was waiting at the gates at 7:30am when they were still locked shut when they should have been opened. Myself and another person were waiting to be let in. By 7:45am, we were out of there! Hard pass on the free bath, Id never let my dog be under your care.

Michelle,We have our own blankets here that we use for the pets as well as elevated beds that the blankets are put on. we are able to regulate the size of the blankets that we use so they are easier for washing in our machines. We do NOT take over sized or stuffed bedding. The beds are picked up daily when we clean the kennels. The kennels are cleaned every day. We only feed once a day and its usually around 11-12 :00 noon. BUT....unlike other facilities we do leave the food down all day long as some dogs do not eat all of their food at one time. They have more distractions here at the kennels and some are occupied seeing what the pets are doing next door to them. We want to be sure the pets are allowed time to eat ALL of their food.YES......We have customers who want their pets fed several times a day and it requires additional time to do so, especially the dogs on special diets or combinations of food that have to be mixed and prepared. We do NOT parade customers through the kennels......we are NOt the humane Society where everyone sticks their fingers in the kennels or stare at the dogs in the kennels that makes them uneasy, and they bark.ALL of our boarding dogs are given a free complementary bath. Never have anyone of our customers complain about the bath .......but you!!! We want our dogs going home cleaner than they came in and it's a service our regular clients enjoy us doing. But.....We do have some customers that refuse the bath and we do not bath them. The kennels are concrete floors and chain linking. They are large kennels extending 24 feet long. But we do have male dogs who like to pee a lot and they will get the urine splash back up on their legs as the concrete doesn't absorb like the dirt does, Again the kennels are disinfected, sanitized and cleaned daily. If your pets were throwing up or had diarrhea? I wished you would have called us to let us know. If we see any type of stool change as you described, we will let you know when you pick up your pets. If we notice this in the kennels? You are also given a phone call. Many times the owners will pick up their pets and take them home and allow them to drink a lot of water which in they will throw up. We have had no one call us other than this to say that they have had sick dogs. which is unusual as we had a pretty full kennel this past weekend. If owners know that their dogs have issues with boarding such as anxiety separations, shyness, nor eating habits? we can keep a special eye open on those situations. and then we do have pets who come into the kennels that they do continue fence fighting, chewing on the chain link fencing, just being over reactive dogs.I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations and your other facility closed down, It's hard to please ALL customers in today's society with their demands. We have been in business since 1977 and we please most of our customers who appreciate what we do and how we do it. I understand you are not one of them and I wish you the best finding a facility that pleases your needs. We will continue to operate as we have been for all of these years.

AlekI'm very sorry that this was not caught when Moose was picked up. We do close the pets up at night into their own individual. Kennels. I do know he was to go home early on the 18th at 7:30 am when we opened. But wasn't picked up till alittle later that morning. Please feel free to call us and bring him back for a complete full bath at no charge. I have noted it on your card and again I apologize. My bestDoug
