His painting classes are so fun! We love helping with team building activities and corporate events. We also do kids parties and have summer art camps for teens! Hi Amy, I’m so sorry you were unable to make it to the class you purchased a ticket for and I hope everything is okay now. I was a regular customer at our studio prior to purchasing it, and I know how disappointing it is when something happens out of your control that causes you to miss out on something fun. Our no-show policy is like others in the entertainment industry. Similar to a concert or show, there are no refunds when you don’t attend the event. Our studio policy is actually more lenient than other paint & sips or art class venues in COS as we offer take home kits or store credits when customers cancel with two hours prior notice. (It is my understanding that you weren’t able to call for several days after the event.) This no refund policy is posted on our website in the event details and reiterated during checkout, in your email confirmation, and in your reminder email.PWAT is a big company name, but each studio is run completely independently as a small business. We are locally owned and operated. When someone makes a reservation with us, we hire staff for that event and spend time preparing your supplies accordingly. We also turn away other patrons who want to attend because of your reservation. There is a quite a lot more that goes into your final cost than just the canvas and paints. These policies support small businesses in Colorado Springs. Hopefully this explanation gives you some clarity and understanding to turn your review around.
