Its hard to find someone as detailed and informative like Alex. I was searching for someone to rebuild all 6 carburetors on my 1997 Valkyrie GL1500CT. I was pleasantly surprised to find him in my backyard. Alex is a tremendous mechanic, he takes pictures of every aspect of the work he is doing and explains everything as he goes. He lists every item that is needed to perform the work necessary. There are no surprises with Alex. He is honest straight forward and all around good guy. As long as Alex is around I wont let anyone else touch my bike. Not to mention his multi safety check list that he performs on every ride that comes into his shop. He is a five star mechanic in my book. We need more people like Alex, Thanks Alex

Alex was great to work with and super knowledgeable and communicative of the issues with my bike. He discussed in detail what was necessary for the repairs and went above and beyond to ensure my motorcycle was fixed correctly and now it runs much better/smoother then before. Super happy with the repairs and happy to have a mechanic who fixes the issue and not just throws parts at the problem. Thanks Alex

I brought a bike to Alex with very little hope that a bike that had been sitting for almost 20 years would be able to run again. Alex looked through the whole bike and was able to give me hope. I cant say enough about the professionalism Alex had along with the sheer knowledge about the bike I had brought in. I would recommend Vintage Motorcycle Repair to anyone that wants honest work done at an honest price.

I recently had an issue with the initial tire stems that were put on by this shop about a year ago, but Alex replaced them with no added cost to me. Great service.

So this guy. Whether it's him or his son. Whatever, I don't care but avoid these two. Waited 5 months the to get my bike into these guys. Came highly recommended for older Honda bikes. Took my 97 shadow in as I new that the stator system (coil, regulator, and gasket) needed to be replaced along with a bolt for my front exhaust. Confirmed with his son after waiting 5 mo ths to get my bike in that my time frame was maybe a week for the repair. Didn't hear anything against that so thought we would be good. Dropped the bike off Oct 22nd didn't here anything from him until I reached out on like the 8 or 9th of Nov. Then, he goes three days with out being able to reach me (broken phone) and changes the spark plugs on my bike. Why? We agreed when I left the bike that he would confirm if it's the stator, coil and or whatever since he said it could be something else. Well, I know the batteries good, I know it runs when hit with another battery, I knew what needed to be replaced. So, he didn't do the work Iwanted, did work i never even mentioned to him, and wants me to pay for a ridiculous diagnosis fee I don't need. Then, he takes my bike after threatening to keep it to some random parking lot and leaves it with the keys in it. Why? Cause I won't pay for work I didn't want? Cause you think I'm gonna pay you 150 to confirm what I already knew? Do you not realize that those components come in a kit to replace? Do mechanics just work on things and send me a bill with out knowing anything? What a joke. Seriously I'd say close to criminal. Oh, by the way, he trashed my exhaust. Funny, back exhaust wasn't touched when I gave you the bike. And funny cause the voltage regulator is sold in a package with the ccojl and gasket. For 126. And you're trying to charge 500. Fact outta hear. I see the other post about you ripping off a fellow mechanic. Interesting.
