USAF vet went in for a robotic assist hip replacement . A bit nervous of course but from the first person at the check in desk to the nurse who wheeled me out, this place is fantastic!! Dr Puddy and his team are just great.. Kurt, Michelle, Barbra, and 6 others thank you for your special care.. The food service people were great to.. Making sure I knew everything available. And then getting my order right every time. I would rate them 10 stars only because they deserve it.. Thanks again Grandview Hospital for the great personal care I received. Pete

I'm battling stage 4 renal cell carcinoma that has spread to my bones. In this difficult fight, accurate and timely diagnosis is crucial. On December 30, 2023, after experiencing severe ribcage pain for several weeks, I sought emergency care at UCHealth North at Briargate. Unfortunately, traffic diverted me to Grandview Emergency Hospital. While aware of their reputation for misdiagnoses, and shortcomings I felt I had no other choice. After a lengthy wait, I received a CT scan. The results were negative for cancer and any other potential cause, which seemed unlikely given my condition and the nature of my pain. Three months later, a routine scan confirmed my fears: cancerous lesions on my left 9th rib the precise location of my initial discomfort. Grandview's failure to identify this issue is deeply concerning. Even more troubling is UCHealth management's apparent inaction regarding their hospital's known shortcomings. This endangers patients like me who are already facing serious health challenges. My sincere recommendation: If possible, seek emergency care elsewhere until Grandview demonstrates a commitment to addressing these issues and providing the level of care a UCHealth facility should represent.
