Cornerstone Caregiving

Cornerstone went way beyond my expectations. They were able to provide sitters for every shift I requested, starting the same day I called. The sitters were well-prepared by reading all my notes before they arrived. Nearly all were more concerned about my husband's comfort and safety than their own. They were professional and mostly experienced in what we needed. All were happy to do whatever we asked, within their scope, of course. They were pleasant and relieved my worry so that I truly rested when I wasn't there. I may not remember all the names, but I especially appreciated Jeremy, Derek, Stephanie and Joshua. Thank you, Cornerstone!

Cornerstone has been a great resource and support to our family. Our father with Parkinson's has had some ups and downs and in our time of need Cornerstone has been so quick to step in and provide caregivers when family could not be with him. They are always responsive and quick to help. We especially appreciate Bethany, Michaela, Shannon and Deserai - specific caretakers that our dad really appreciated and connected with.

Excellent service in every aspect. Very reliable aides who were all compassionate and caring. Great communication from the office staff. Easy to make changes with short notice. Reasonable minimums. Easy to pay bills. Consistency with care even though we had different caregivers most days. We did have our favorites and the office accommodated our requests for them to come back. Highly recommend. Our dad passed last week and our regular aide dropped by on her day off to say goodbye to my mom.

Horrible place to work for zero communication skills This is not only my experience but feed back from so many clients and family members, and employees. I am not sure how this company is Nationwide but the franchise in Colorado Springs needs help!!! I showed up for a job interview was fast tracked with paperwork and sent to my new client that evening. I didnt not do a mandatory drug test , that day or ever, my back ground check came in the mail a month later. I seriously knew nothing about the new job I was being sent out to do. I was not trained, never did any sort of training or was I asked about any skills I might have to qualify me to go to someones house and take care of an elderly person. Never mind if they have special needs like CPAP , meds , special diets, dementia, gait belts or were wheel chair bound and needed to have showers get dressed and transported I learned day by day on the job. None of these many needs I never was trained to do . I was with a dementia client and he lost his mind yelling at me to leave and I called the company and they returned my call I texted and Im still waiting on a reply, the family stayed in contract with me and never got through to Cornerstone .Cleints had been dropped on their head , repeatedly, caregivers sleeping, and stealing. With Cornerstone not being held accountable. So these will be the untrained people you will be hiring and the lack of communication people that will be caring for your loved ones. I took care of my dad for 7 years after his stroke but my sister and I never wouid of dealt with Cornerstone.

Cornerstone Caregiving has been a shining beacon of hope in a time where quality of life is most important. Li and her staff and have been wonderful in taking time to listen to our needs and putting the right people in place. We are more than happy with the service and care offered by Cornerstone and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance.
