Action Academy

I had been a satisfied cash-paying customer at this gym until I encountered issues with recent credit card charges. When I sought clarification from the owner, Tia, on the random amounts charged, her responses were unclear and lengthy. Despite my efforts to understand and resolve the situation, Tia canceled my membership, even though I had consistently paid my bills on time in cash. Improved communication and transparency would significantly benefit the customer experience at this gym.

So happy we found Action Academy. My 5yo loves their martial arts program and I love that he is getting exposure to Bjj, judo and kickboxing all in one gym. He loves all his instructors and the owners are present and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this gym for anyone wanting to get their kids into martial arts! They of course have adult classes too and options for open mat times.

Update : Action Academy started a kids MMA program and it has been a game changer for my 12 year. She has dealt with bullying at school and has been struggling with confidence. She started regularly taking the kids classes and has not looked back. She stands taller and is so full of life and energy. She loves learning the techniques and feels comfortable and safe with all of her coaches. Feeling so blessed as a family to be able to have a place to grow and become stronger with a team of people who care to see us succeed. Its beautiful! 10 out of 10 recommend. Action Academy has been an amazing place to walk through some tough things in life. The people here are supportive and encouraging. They build you up and help give strategies for personal growth and its on a physical level yes but the growth happens within too. The MMA group has been amazing in building confidence and strength. The team is mindful of each other and others that are newer. The focus is on technique and not just bull strength. There is respect there and mindfulness of where everyone is at as unique individuals. The coaches take the time to teach people the techniques and care more about people learning things the right way than how fast theyre picking it up. In this way the environment is a safe place to learn a risky sport. They are encouraging and constantly taking time with people to help them learn and to be safe. So thankful for this Gym, its leadership, and the MMA classes. Life changers.

My 13yo grandson participates in their Martial Arts program. He has special needs and it has been wonderful to see his confidence grow and watch him becoming successful in learning their BJJ, Judo and Kickboxing. Their instructors are very knowledgeable and great with all the kids. I highly recommend their youth martial arts program.

The music is too loud. If I use a machine under the speaker, I can hear it through my headphones. There are actually times that I have to stop my workout early because it cuts through my own music. Other than that, awesome gym! :(
