The phone staff was patient and reactive. My garage door broke in the evening right before I was on my way to a meeting. When I stated I was in a hurry, both individuals expedited the phone call while ensuring I had all of the information. I was able to get a technician scheduled before the meeting start, which meant they were at the house shortly after the meeting ended. The technician was informative, helpful, and gave me a run down of what I should expect and would need to do for the garage door for short, medium, and long term, and then also provided that information along with quotes for each to my email. I will absolutely be going to them for all my garage door maintenance needs.

I had Clear Choice come out to fix a spring that had popped on my garage door a couple months ago. I ultimately decided to go with them because they gave me the cheapest quote on the single spring that popped and both times I spoke to different people over the phone assured me that I would be okay with just the single spring. There were other companies that were significantly less for two springs but since I was confident with only needing one at that point I chose them. Guy shows up on time and I immediately can tell this isnt going to work out. He told me that I needed two but hell do one and Ill just have to call them in a month when the other one breaks. Something to that effect, making sure I know Im an idiot for the dumb decision to only replace one. So now Im in a spot where if I only do one spring Ill be paying double if the cocky repair man is correct and the other spring does pop in a month. It was my decision, the service guy did not force me to get both just to be clear, but it wouldve been better if I was more aware that it needed to be two. I also know that people you speak to over the phone do not have special powers to see the springs on a garage but I do wish at least one of them wouldve encouraged me to consider a high probability of needing two but I digress. The main issue I now have after paying the high price and the overly confident technician is I think the springs are trash. The last ones I had were nowhere near as loud and disturbing as these. The way the garage goes up or down when prompted is so aggressive I cant imagine them working out in the long term. It violently jerks and that cant be good for any part of the physical garage door or the mechanical part. So in closing: Pros: came out within a day or two were on time Cons: cocky energy technicians high prices not convinced their work or supplies are worth their prices
