I made one appointment with a bloodwork from Dr. Rush. It resulted in $970 and most of the cost could have been saved only if she modifies the billing codes from diagnostic to preventive. My insurance company has guided her for it, but Dr. Rush absolutely denied it saying she puts the same code for all her patients. A bloodwork item was concerning, so, I made phone calls and visited her UC Health portal to leave a message to ask about it. Zero update for it. When I called her office, I often had to wait more than an hour. When I passed messages to the doctor/her staffs after the long wait, I got zero update. So, I had to visit her office twice for an answer. The answer was no. If I want to get any detail, I had to make an appointment with the doctor to cost me another $300. Does she care about the wellbeing of her patients? No. All she cares about is money, free money with little service.

The initial visit seemed fine, although I thought Dr. Rush seemed a little rushed and aloof. The office staff seemed relatively efficient and friendly. Any follow-up, however, was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I had an adverse reaction to the Fosamax prescribed. When I called to inquire about Next Steps? Another office visit? I called and could never reach a live person, so I left three messages before I received any kind of response from the office (over 7-10 days?). And then when they did finally call, they left a message saying they were returning my call with no information about whether I should make another appointment, etc. I was finally able to reach Dr. Rush through the UHC portal messaging system. When I told her about my severe adverse reaction to Fosamax and asked about Next Steps, she suggested an injection (or infusion) of another drug related to Fosamax. (I had just had a severe reaction to a very small pill. Why would I want an injection of something similar that would take longer to leave my system?) I asked for alternatives. She said there were none. It was drugs or nothing. Then silence. No offers of any encouragement, no empathy. No suggestions of alternative treatments, exercise, diet, physical therapy, etc. Nothing. Basically you're s--t out of luck. (My words, not hers.) Very disappointed.

Dr. Rush from a five minute review of my labs after which she said I have hashimoto's disease she still refused to start me on medication. After much research a person can die from the disease. I will be reporting her to AMA.

Dr. Rush impressed me as very bright, knowledgeable, and responsive to my questions. Her nurses and office staff are also top notch and communciated frequently to update me on prescription status. So glad my primary physician referred me to Dr. Rush.

Dr. Rush is a wonderful doctor. Her office staff is extremely efficient and polite. She saw my elderly father for the first time today, when he came home, he had nothing but positive things say and compliments to give her Dr. Rush. Her bedside manner with my father was nothing less than amazing and professional. It almost brings me to tears how amazing she was with my dad given he is an older man who barely speaks any English. She diagnosed him instantaneously and took care of him and answered all of his questions in a patient manner again she is nothing short of amazing per my father. The doctors office followed up with him the next day to ensure he was good and didnt have any further questions or concerns. We highly recommend Dr. Rush, if you can get in as one of her patients! Thank you for taking care of my father.
