I have to say I was highly disappointed walking in today. Ive been coming here for many years now, and the previous location off S. Tejon. Always been the place to go to get good quality, name brand items for great prices. I noticed today on mens clothing probably somewhere between a 20-30% increase on clothing that I regularly purchase there. Had some very nice items that I would normally have snagged right away cause of the great pricing but it was OBVIOUS today that either someone new is doing the pricing or theyve just increased in general. Sad because thats whats happened everywhere you go all over the retail landscape but you hope the places you know and love dont do it. But MER did. If theres a response from MER, please dont bother with the lesson in economics and inflation, and everything else going up in price. This is simply about the principal of it, not all that stuff.

Just moved to COS and I needed a bike for my 6'2" teenager. They were so helpful and fit a solid used bike to him, showed him how to care for it, gave it a tune-up, and answered all our questions. Excellent service, kind people. Definitely will go again, and always happy to support a local business like this.

MER is a hidden gem! We have been shopping here for years. You can get high quality used outdoor clothing and equipment for great prices. I get to consign my used gear and the community benefits because they are a non-profit that gives to local outdoor causes. Very Importantly, the shopping experience is great: the store is clean, organized and well managed. Thank you.

This is by far the best outdoor equipment shop in the Springs!!! Employees that are knowledgeable, friendly, years of experience, and dedicated to their cause. MER has tons of great equipment at rock bottom pricing!

Awesome experience with these guys, not only did they do a great job on converting the parts I asked but they went above and beyond by cleaning and test riding the bike afterwards to check for anything else that may have been in need of fixing. And not only that the price cant be beat! Im so glad I can get back to riding on a bike and I have MER to thank!
