This review is WAY overdue. My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Michael and Lisa at DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. We have been nothing but pleased with the results of our kitchen makeover. When we started, the kitchen was light oak and dark counters with outdated flooring and fixtures. Now, its bright and inviting with grey bottom cabinets and white upper cabinets, a new island and white marble countertops. Lisa was awesome with paint choices for the space! Would work with them over and over again and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality remodel. I signed a contract in June 2022 to have my master bathroom renovated. The contract stipulates 50% (which for me was over $15,000) is paid up front to schedule the job. Michael Pinkerton - the owner- worked directly with me in the planning and signing process. Early January came around and I called to check on progress. Michael said "I hope we can get started on your bathroom next week." I called back on February 7th. Michael said he was still working on finding someone to do my job but didn't have a start date. February 8, I left a voice mail. Feb. 9th I present at the business. Michael is not there. No one present in the office knows if materials have been ordered or received. Michael calls and using his office manger's phone. I talk to him. The conversation goes like this: "I never said I had anyone to do your job; You signed a contract; I can't give you all your money back; I can't give you the receipts for the purchased materials; Covid is causing problems with finding people; I thought about coming out to do the job my self - maybe next week; We just need to do arbitration then". I asked for the return of the entire amount I paid him to do a job he is not doing. He refused. I asked for my file. They refused to give it to me. I left. Less than 10 minutes later, I get a call from a police officer stating Michael does not want me at the business and if I show up, I will be charged with trespassing. Michael and Lisa worked with me to re-imagine my kitchen. It was a brown, basement man-cave and now it's a beautiful blue/white functioning kitchen. Michael did most of the work himself. Service: Kitchen remodeling
