C.E. is an absolutely phenomenal goal setting and character development, mixed martial arts training and mastery school, that provides classes for children, teens and adults alike (no matter your background, circumstance or physical ability). I had always been interested in taking a self-defense class, but hadnt found the right fit, until I came to C.E. I brought my children in to attend a friend's b-day party at C.E. Very first thing, the instructor asked the children Do you know why you keep your hands up by your face? Its how you best defend yourself, because YOU, ARE VALUABLE, AND WORTH PROTECTING! He immediately had my attention. He was not just teaching MMA, he was instilling the importance of your knowing your self-worth! The classes introduce many more valuable life skills, taught with activities involving fun personal challenges, as well as social engaging teamwork. Without a doubt, I AM SOLD! I am honored to say that the 3 of us have been students for 8 months now, and I am continually impressed by C.E.s unique teaching philosophy, curriculum, instructors expertise in MMA, all passionately taught with enthusiasm, compassion and humility. The instructors practice what they preach, aiding in the growth in their students, teaching each student the importance of contributing positively to society. To be ethical citizens who care about their community, taking responsibility, problem solving and being respectful to people and property. The student creeds alone nearly bring me to tears of pride. My children and I attest to the growth we continue to experience. Im so thrilled to have the opportunity to provide this gift for my children which I know will be utilized the rest of their lives. My instructor Dean was so awesome. I went to a self defense class for the first time ever and was feeling a little nervous, but Dean was so helpful and positive. I enjoyed the class and had a great time.

I would not recommend this place if you want to learn martial arts. Everyone here is inexperienced and unfit.

Went to the Can You Kick It event last weekend. So fun. For someone that knows literally nothing about self defense, or even fitness, this was super fun. Class full of strong independent women and a teacher (Dean) that knew what he was doing! Genesiss partnering with this made me feel like a true queen. Would go again. Take this class! You wont regret it.

Ive been working with the founder of competitive edge mixed martial arts for 6 weeks now. My children attended classes while we did weekly parenting coaching. I highly recommend his services especially for anyone who would like to build better connection and cooperation with their kids. Scotts approach is different then most as he incorporates the skills and thought process of a coach and then applies them to changing behavior in a child by changing the mindset and approach of the parent when interacting with the child. This has proven to be very helpful to me and my family and Im sure others could also benefit from his guidance and techniques.
