Ram V. Nathan Agency Inc. American Family Insurance

Ram is an independent agent with State farm, exceptional sevice. We had a terrible day after a car accident and Ram helped out a lot, even after hours. He manages all our insurance services.

We have used American Family Insurance for many years and our children are now customers as well. Ram and Myra have always been accessible and we continue to receive help and good service whenever we have a need.

If I could rate this American family insurance a ZERO I would. Our problem started yesterday while we WERE still their customer found out they added my brother in law to our insurance without any notification. We live in a roommate situation and we have talked to multiple American family agencies and they state this was not right for the agency to do. They stated they mailed the letter out stating the reasons why or we can exclude him as he is now at the age to drive. I got no letter, then they said they would have emailed me and NO email and the assistance Myra stated she was going to give us that information and we still don't have it even when it was supposed to be emailed by yesterday. Myra is very rude and stated that she would cancel our policy right away if we didn't pay the over $500 dollar charge they were charging us, which is incorrect and against the law. The rudeness was unacceptable. Myra hung up on my wife twoce and once with me. As an employee that WORKs for customer even the most upset customer Myra should have kept her composure and stayed professional and stating she was going to cancel our policy right away and hanging up on us is not professional at all, I see kids with more manners then what we experienced. I asked for the main agent Ram V. Nathan to call me as soon as possible because I was very upset and needed an apology for how his assistant Myra treated his customers. NO call which shows you the type of professionalism he has for American Family customers. We have since transferred to a different agency that treats us very professional even when WE the CUSTOMER is upset. We will be filing a complaint with American family as no customer upset or not should be treated and hung up on the way we were.
