I was told my $3000.00 dollar check was an excessive amount. I would not be able to cash it unless they had a manager present which would be in a couple of days. I would be able to cash my check at that time if I started an account. I would avoid this branch if possible. It's obvious from the consistent bad reviews that this location should be shut down.

BMO Bank is the worst bank ever. I will have to go in today and cancel my account. The reason for that is I tried ordering a gift for my wife. I waited for my deposit to come in, and then I placed my order this morning. However, they canceled my order and sent me a text message to verify if it was me. I said yes, and I tried reordering, but the order couldn't go through. The worst thing is that I needed gas to get to work, but my card got declined. I called BMO, and they told me to go to the branch to resolve it. Imagine, I was out of state, and there was no BMO branch nearby. How will my life be? I have money, but I can't use it. This is not the first time this bank has let me down. You can bank there, but don't keep your money in their bank. Withdrawing your money in cash is better.

The people here are rude and incompetent. They dont know how to do their jobs and blame you for it.

The banker was impossibly rude to my wife who is too nice to leave this review herself. She accused her of lying about her salary, told her that she only works three months out of the year based on her job title, and didnt even finish the application (forcing her to come back to the bank). Aside from the personal insults and complete lack of professionalism, she was generally very rude. I highly recommend the key bank right next door.
