Jimmy John's

I highly DONT recommend the Jimmy Johns on Wilcox St in Castle Rock (thankfully there is another just a couple miles away!)! My husband and I are Jimmy Johns regulars. We eat there every other week or so. This particular location we stopped going to a year ago because they got slack on their toppings and would miss toppings entirely. Why settle for a not correct order when I can drive just a few minutes longer to the better store? Fast forward almost a year and we have a baby now which causes us to want convenience aka the slightly closer location. Tried it a couple times without complaint. Then tonight my husbands sandwich is missing toppings, mine is weak sauce, it wasnt ready on time (Jimmy Johns is known for being on time and fast so this is a shocker), and as my husband waited the cashier acted like his job was the worst thing, which he let reflect in his attitude towards customers. On a very appreciative note, I called, asked the manager to refund my order and he did with no hesitation and was pleasant to talk to. However, the amount of times I would have to call to get my order refunded in the future makes it worth going to the other Jimmy Johns. This wasnt one experience but many over a long period of time.

Had a great meal at this Jimmy Johns. Very fast and clean, the food was delicious and exactly what we ordered, and the service was friendly. I was surprised by the low review scores, but I think that mustve been under prior management. Well definitely be coming back!

Jimmy John's is pretty standard across the board, good sandwiches, decent price, easy online ordering, fast delivery & pickup. What makes this location stand out is the friendly & efficient employees in the evening. It doesn't matter if you show up 5 minutes until close without preordering, they are just as friendly and accommodating as if you ordered online and showed up before they were all done cleaning ( I try not to be that guy but sometimes it happens) The only drawback is not being able to tip on a credit card. Usually if I'm racing to get there a minute before closing so I don't starve that night, I'm going to forget to stop and get cash for a tip and those guys deserve it. Just a suggestion to save one grateful yet discombobulated and disorganized non cooking, hungry customer the awkwardness of digging through pockets praying to find a mere $5 bill as a token of my appreciation to the well deserving employee for a job well done.

UPDATE: 3/10/24 Orders are WRONG every single time the family orders here. It can't be that difficult to read an order, follow it and make it properly. Then have the audacity to ask for a tip?! Every single order stated, "cut the sandwich in half". It NEVER gets cut in half. First world problem, but when you have 5 sandwiches that cost $70+ bucks, all missing listed ingredients.....expectations are high. 10/7/23 1130am. extremely unsanitary and SLOW location. 30 minutes to make a sandwich that was called in ahead. heavy set young man with caterpillar moustache, very messy and dirty clothes, black curly hair rubbing his hands in his hair and then making sandwiches. BLAGH!!!
