Prime dip sandwich was mediocre despite being $18. Au jus was pretty tasteless. Tots were good.

Definitely found a very nice, delicious place to have lunch or dinner or even just a little snack while in Canon City Colorado doing shopping and other activities.. Located on Historic Main Street is a friendly place where I don't know which is better the food or the people.. Brandon is very knowledgeable about the history of the building and Alissa is one of the best servers I've had the pleasure of meeting in a long time.. Attentive but not hovering and accommodating.. Beautiful smiles on Brandon and Alissa just made our visit even more enjoyable.. Thank you Eric Linn for taking us there.. I plan on being back as soon as possible and possibly enjoying The blackened Mahi-Mahi (??) Vegetarian options: The mushroom,spinach Flatbread was Devine..

The first time I went here, I had a great experience. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. However, the second time was just awful and disappointing. The first time, I got the blackened chicken Cesar salad and it was delicious. So much so, that I got the salad by take out multiple times without issue. Then I went recently to dine-in and ordered the Slopper. In the description of said slopper, it states that the meal is smothered in green chili. I have lived in Colorado my entire life, I know what green chili is. I also know what a slopper is, since that is my go-to meal when eating out. What the waitress sat in front of me was anything but. It had sandwich bread on the top and bottom of a hamburger patty. It had giant chucks of pork all over it and what I was so disappointed about was that the chili was bright RED. I dont care what they claim, that was not even in the same realm of being green chili. How can you live in Colorado and not know what a green chili slopper is? I didnt want to be a pain so instead of sending it back, I just kept it, didnt eat it, and ordered a little salad instead. Looking back, I should have just sent the sorry excuse for a slopper back. Now, I ordered the same chicken Cesar salad that I have had many times before. Every other time, the salad was made with leafy roman lettuce. This time, it was made with ice berg that was hardly fresh. Every aspect of this meal, both of them, was disappointing to say the least.
