Yankee Candle

This store was a disaster area when we visited. Nobody seemed to know what was going on. A person named Madeline checked us out and was actually rude and unhelpful. I am a longtime customer of Yankee and am very saddened by this experience. I would drive to the flagship store in Deerfield before I would return to this location

Sometimes, you get dragged into places you don't like. Also, sometimes you find something there you do like. Basically my whole trip into this Yankee Candle in a nutshell. Wasn't keen, the party insisted on going in. But upon browsing, found some good, rather good, earthy scents to cover the stank dripping about in the mausoleum. Woody, tree scents seem to be the best go-to for pungeant odors. Reccomend to any place slightly swampy.

I had the most wonderful experience at the Flatirons mall Yankee Candle when I went last week. The woman who helped me was SO helpful and kind throughout the entire experience! She was super knowledgeable about the products in the store and checked in the back for a few items I couldnt see/had questions about. I was looking for a small Dried Lavender and Oak candle and couldnt find one, so she checked a few places in store, then recommended (amazing!) alternatives when she couldnt find anything, which I thought was so cool because she was so knowledgeable about each candle and their smell profiles! Very cool. She proceeded to help me with other candles and when I asked about putting something in my car she had TONS of great info and showed me multiple options! She also had great recommendations when I was choosing between candles as well. While checking out, she was very friendly and personable as well! If I had more money I wouldve spent A TON more, not only because the scents they carry are amazing but because of the EXCELLENT customer service I received! Im forgetting her name but I told her I would leave this review because she was that great. If you or your manager see this, HI! I will definitely be coming again, hoping to see you!

-5 stars if possible. I am severely disappointed in this Yankee Store, at which I (used to be) a regular customer. First and foremost: today, the day they release a major Halloween collection, they don't require customers to wear masks. With the delta variant raging, this goes against all common sense. They have the ability to enforce a mask policy, even if only for one very busy weekend. Thankfully I wore a mask, but, it felt more and more like a petri dish in there as I waited near the front of the line for 15+ minutes (WHY do two customers take so long to check out?). Well over half of customers weren't wearing masks, and the line spilled out the door. Sorry but clearly, many customers are not trustworthy at this point in time. The rest of the store was also packed. If I contract covid, it will no doubt be from this store. I regret going in. Second: With their new Halloween collection, they were apparently only given 3 of each new item. Who the heck DOES that? What is wrong with Yankee Candle?! And these items aren't even online. Anyway, it felt like I went in there for no reason because what I wanted wasn't even there. To summarize, this store doesn't have nearly enough of what it's supposed to, and IT IS UNSAFE in terms of covid. Do NOT walk in there. I feel sorry for the staff. They are nice and hardworking, and they were wearing masks. Not sure if that's adequate protection, though. It is a shame.
