I recommended a client to KB homes, and they were convinced to build without being represented. Now that I know they have a shady business model, I won't ever recommend them to clients again.

I wish I had the same experience with Jeff Olson and Stevie as others did. My experience was a nightmare! When Jeff was selling the house, he implied that he and his team were going to do things right as they were experts. Shortly after they started building my house, I learned both of them generally pass issues off to the next person and/or warranty team as they do not hold any trade accountable nor verify the work after each trade. When I asked questions, to many of them were answered in a form that ended up "I'm not an expert in the trade. You'll have to ask someone else". When it came to closing, I couldn't take possession same day. I had to wait about a week after closing to take possession, only to find out master bath and other issues were not completed. After about 3 weeks of possession, master bath still not completed as it's my responsibility to follow up to get anything fixed. With so many quality issues, I was terrified to put anything in the kitchen cabinets in fear they were going to fall on me. Almost a month after closing, several issues still not resolved and thus my journey still continues. Based on my experience, I DO NOT RECOMMEND KB Homes.
