As a devoted fan of Alpine Modern on the Hill, I ventured into the new location with high hopes. Unfortunately, the experience fell a bit short compared to its well-loved counterpart. **Missing the Mountain Vibe:** The atmosphere at the new location left me wanting. While the Hill location boasts a cozy, mountain-inspired ambiance, this one felt...well, ordinary. The loud ice-breaking definitely didn't help with creating a relaxing environment. **Coffee: Not Quite Gipfel-Worthy:** The coffee itself was decent, but it didn't quite reach the same level of quality I've come to expect from Alpine Modern. And the latte art, a small detail for some, was a bit of a letdown. The Hill's baristas consistently create beautiful latte art, adding a touch of artistry to the coffee experience. **Hope for Improvement:** Despite the initial let down, I'm still optimistic about the new Alpine Modern Cafe. Every new place needs time to find its footing, and I hope they can capture some of the magic of the Hill location. Perhaps with some tweaks to the atmosphere and a focus on barista training, the new cafe can become a worthy sibling to the original. **Would I Recommend?** If you're new to Alpine Modern, this location might be perfectly pleasant. However, for those familiar with the Hill's charm and coffee excellence, this location might not quite live up to the hype.
