Kendra and her team were incredibly helpful in coaching me through the interview process. Two sessions with Kendra opened my eyes on many different tips and techniques I could be using to perform better during interviews. On top of all of that, Kendra also gave me tools to help screen jobs and companies that would best suit my wants and needs!
I cannot recommend Kendra and her team enough! Five Stars - well deserved!!

Avoid this place at all costs. See edits to address their fake little apology.
I had previously worked with Ginger, and gotten good advice on interviewing. When I was starting the process of looking for a new job in January, nobody even bothered calling me back. A third party managed to get me in touch with Julie Rosekrans.
Julie offered to work with me pro bono, as she knew I had just lost my job. She also knew that my line of work has highs and lows in hiring, and we were just entering peak season. Julie spent almost all of March, all of April, and most of May blowing me off. She was late for appointments, assuming she showed up at all. Documents she promised in two days were delivered in a few weeks after numerous follow ups. At one point, I made four appointments on her personal calendar and one through the main office in two weeks and she failed to show up for all of them. By mid May, I was so desperate, I called the main line and offered to pay for assistance. One woman, name unknown, scheduled an appointment but declined to take my information. (Julie blew off the appointment.) I again has to have a third party come in and assist with contacting TurningTheCorner just to get Julie to speak to me. We had an appointment in June. I offered again to pay for some additional coaching. I was once again promised materials she never sent and was told I would be referred to a colleague, who I never heard from.
I often called the main line and never received a response. I occasionally spoke with Debbie, the office and Julie's secretary. Debbie was extremely rude to me on multiple occasions. I did reach out to TurningTheCorner via email with feedback, and did not receive so much as a "thank you for your time." I assume they know she is unprofessional and do not care.
The materials Julie made for me were reviewed by some people in my field and were found to be entirely inadequate for the jobs I am looking for. Nearly all of it had to be rewritten. Julie personally cost me four months in a critical period of hiring and has cost me numerous incredible opportunities because I could not apply for them. I wish I had gone anywhere else, with a person and company who cared whether or not I got a job.
Edits to reply to the false apology from TurningTheCorner:
- The "couple versions" of the resume were the same document. One just was formated differently so it spilled onto a second page.
- The "cover letter" provided was basically a template with some of my info thrown in. It was generic, vague, and full of errors.
- Again: I offered to pay several times. I hoped it would correct situations like being told "I will have your resume ready for you to review in two days" in April... And having Julie call five minutes after a scheduled meeting a month later because she is still working on the document edits and needs an extra "few minutes." She did not send the edited document for another 90 minutes, and I had to reschedule. I was also promised resources that never materialized.
- Also, again, the entire cover letter and most of my resume had to be rewritten. I received templates and very little else. Yes, this was free and I got what I paid for.
- This business clearly knows exactly who I am and how to reach me. They have never emailed or called to say they are sorry.
You are only "apologizing" now because I am telling people publically to avoid you. It isn't even an apology. It is "sorry if you feel." Yes. I do feel, and the evidence supports. Julie had between March and June to pretend to care. Cleaning up her mess took weeks of editing and I did not have materials until mid July.
