I'm a grounds keeper here and it's seems like a nice place to live I know repairs are done fast they have a hot tub and pool table and the owner is a great guy

To any students looking to live at the Buddha I would definitely warn away. Over the course of two years there had been break-ins, shootings, and overall very sketchy things that happen at all times of year. The rent is only increasing as is the danger of this area. You can definitely find more for less even if Boulder is having housing issues. No one besides us had stayed for more than a year and we regretted our stay as soon as we realized how bad the plumbing, cost, and overall community of the Buddha was going to be. Not to mention how much money the landlord attempts to squeeze from students at the end of the lease term through cleaning and repair jobs that are unnecessary. We even had plumbing emergencies that resulted in our bathtub overflowing with sewage and a neighbor getting E-coli from attempting to clean another sewage issue up. We were continually blamed for clogging the pipes until they finally had a plumber identify that the system was ruined by construction, not ourselves. While it may seem like a generally put together place at the beginning of each year, it deteriorates quickly and the landlord believes no fault is on the very old apartments themselves. Again, you can find better for less almost anywhere in Boulder - even fourstarr rentals are a step up from this place.
