    This place was great in the first three months of my lease, after which an extremely affable manager quit and his replacement(s) either did not or simply could not care. During this period, I would have given 5 stars. There were at least two managers who followed. The landscaping looks great. I would see the groundskeeper water the hanging plants every morning. But simple things like emptying out the overflowing dog poop pots just go neglected causing piles of poop to accumulate for days. Tons of homeless people wander around the area--one even slept in the hallway of my building. There's virtually no enforcement of the nonsmoking policy, which is great if you smoke, and less great if you expect your complex to be a nonsmoking complex. Many of my packages were missing/misdelivered. And finally, I had numerous significant maintenance issues that went unaddressed for honestly an unacceptable amount of time--dishwasher out for 3 months + from time of initial request to resolution, and hot water heater out for several weeks during the winter before resolution. The lack of communication surrounding maintenance requests was alarming, and ultimately what caused me to not renew. I think my lease was worth it from a monetary standpoint, but I was basically given a 200$/mo increase option to renew. I felt this was not worth it as I did not want to deal with nonresponsive management. Also, there were multiple pet friendly one BR options with amenities such as gym/pool/common area/storage for approximately the same price.

    Ive really enjoyed living here so far! My apartment has a lot of natural light and a well designed layout. Theres definitely a focus on the interior over community amenities if thats what youre looking for. Great kitchen, nice cabinets and countertops, lots of windows, and multiple balconies. The neighborhood is peaceful, near Wonderland Lake, hiking trails, and some restaurants and shops. Downtown Boulder is a quick drive or bus ride away. The maintenance and office staff have been easy to work with. Rent costs arent cheap, but thats true in all of Boulder and they are a bit more reasonable here compared to other complexes in the area. Overall, would recommend Violet on Broadway!

    Literally changed the locks on my apartment and locked me out of my place while I'm still paying rent. Didn't even let me know. Stole my old keys. Never repaired issues when I brought them up. Made me live and deal with carpenter ants and no AC during the Summers for 3 years straight. Did I mention the homeless sleep in the hallways and carports during the Winter? I'm calling the police, BBB, and filing a massive lawsuit. Do not live here.

Violet on Broadway is thoughtfully designed to be an ideal place to live and play with easy access to Downtown Boulder and an abundance of parks and paved trails. The community is also located on a major bus route and is walking distance to many services.Violet on Broadway is surrounded by acres of open space and offers unique floor plans with soaring 9 to 15 foot ceilings, oversized double-hung windows, expansive views of the foothills and Four Mile Creek Open Space outside your front door. Each studio, one or two bedroom apartment home includes one to three balconies (many with foothill views), slab granite countertops, upgraded cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, washers and dryers and energy efficient lighting. Whether you are looking for convenience to downtown or serenity in the foothills, Violet on Broadway is a wonderful place to call home.Colorado House Bill 23-1099/Statutes 38-12-902 & 38-12-904 Our community accepts Portable Screening Reports prepared by a consumer reporting agency within the previous 30 days at the request and expense of the prospective tenant. The report must be made directly available to the Landlord for use in the rental application process. The credit report is required to include the name of the prospective tenant, contact information, verification of employment and income, last known address, and each Jurisdiction indicated in the consumer report. Criminal history is also required. The criminal history report is required to be in compliance with Statutes 38-12-904. The criminal report must have the prospective tenant's name and include all Federal, State, and Local convictions. When a prospective tenant submits Portable Screening Reports meeting the requirements of Statutes 38-12-902 and Statutes 38-12-904, all fees associated with the prospective tenant's credit and criminal history screening will be waived. Our community uses a third-party vendor to process prospective tenant applications to protect your privacy. Should a residency application be denied, the third-party vendor will provide a written notice stating the reasons for the denial. Suppose a prospective tenant is charged an application fee to obtain consumer reports. In this case, the prospective tenant may obtain a copy of the reports by contacting the third-party vendor who processed the residency application. The contact information for the third-party vendor is available on the Application for Residency. A copy of this document is provided to a prospective tenant once the Application for Residency is submitted to the Landlord.
