        Great location at relatively close to the Beavercreek Village. Mostly ski and ski out there is a door out the back that takes you onto a lift and you can ski back to this area.

        Very very expensive for what you get (nothing special). Plus they surprise bill you with a $160 housekeeping fee at the end of the stay. Have never seen a hotel do this.

        If management at The Charter would like more details (such as the exact room we stayed in), you are welcome to reach out to me. The room I stayed at this last time had a few issues. 1) All three TVs were not functioning properly. The living room TV did not turn on until we asked the front desk to address it, which then maintenance came in to fix it. The other two TVs were working, but there was no volume, and we did not know about their issues until after the living room TV was fixed, hence why we didn't get them all fixed simultaneously. 2) The stove burners were not working anywhere close to full heat. It took nearly an hour for any of the burners to boil even a shallow pot of water. These are significant issues considering we are cooking all our meals at this place, plus considering the nightly rate of this place. Finally, communication with the front desk staff was poor. It was extremely difficult to contact them by phone and even when I walked to the front desk and delivered requests, they did not address them aside from when they fixed the one TV. We will more than likely stay at one of the other lodges in BC next time.

      Hi Andrew. We apologize that your stay did not meet expectations. We strive to assure every guest has a rejuvenating, effortless stay & we work hard to be forthright with any fees, including housekeeping. All advertising portals where our residences are offered do mention the housekeeping fee. We are also quite different from a hotel in that these are residences with a full kitchen, family room, oftentimes multiple bedrooms & bathrooms & outdoor space too. Cleaning is much more extensive.
