Updated.. the child did not open the candy everyone was respectful of your store. The white young lady had made several comments to the children about not touching any toys.. you suggesting otherwise is disguising as you where not present. I spent more than $70 at your store. Never received or was offered receipt not emailed either SHADY!!!!!! business!!!!!I am a Latina!!! Means nothing if you support peoples treatment like this. I will be following up with the better business bureau ITS A TOY STORE! You are in the wrong business. It is a toy store. I am speaking facts! my experience at your store! I will follow up with Stanley Market place.. your store is racist! THEY ARE RACIST!!!!!! Shame on you! Original post the girl at the counter saw people of color and treated us so poorly that the children couldnt touch anything, I went in with 4 young kids. Each kid was given $20 to spend. They went in supervised by adults. The youngest one was chewing gum and wanted to buy a gum dispenser. The cashier scolded the 5 year old. Told him he was eating it and had to buy the toy. I was there watching, she simply could have talked to me. So I told her we are buying it and that he had his own gum. She was clearly upset and watching everything the kids touched.ITS A TOY STORE!!!! She was constantly telling them to put toys back, not to bounce the toy balls. As soon as they saw something she would say. put it back in the place where u found it.Overall shameful store. I will never recommend or go back. Do not support this behavior!!!!

We went into the store with our daughter Audrey (5months) who fell in love with a stuffed Big Foot. We were visiting the area because my daughter needs a liver transplant and are in hopes she will qualify at Colorado Childrens Hospital. Christina, our salesperson, bought our girl the toy! The whole staff was kind, funny, and blessed us during a difficult time We are so thankful!

Bottomline is, we are not racist, and we do not condone discrimination of ANY kind.
Original comment: I am very sad to see this comment, as it is not true. My employee asked one of your children not to open a candy until they bought it, and you told her that she was profiling the child and being racist.
Well, let me be very straight: this is a minority woman owned business (a Latina that is- Me) and my employees come from many different backgrounds and from mixed families, and if they were racist they would not even work for me, and they would not have been able to keep a job here.
Since you are a "local guide" you should know that it is customary (at any business) to buy items before you open them. We understand that you were outnumbered and that it is hard to keep 4 children under your supervision at all times while you are shopping, but the rules apply to everyone. We are a small business, and we appreciate the support of our customers, but even though we are a Toy Store- we are not a Playground and we need to make sure that our merchandise is sealable. Unfortunately, we get many people (adults and children alike) that break things, spill their drinks, steal and open items, and part of my employees job is to make sure that things are taken care of and stay in order.
We work really hard every day and we have a great amount of repeat customers. Sorry you had a difficult time and a bad experience, but please refrain from assuming who we are and from making false accusations.

It saddens me to see this comment, apart from the fact that it is not true. My employee asked one of her children not to open a piece of candy (gum) until she bought it, and you told her she was being racist.
Well, let me inform you that the owner of this business (Me) is Latina and that my employees are of different races and from mixed families and if they were racist they would not work for me, and I would not have them working for me.
Since you are a "local guide", you should know that in any business you must buy something before opening it. We understand that you came with 4 children and that it is difficult to keep them supervised at all times while you are shopping but the rules apply to everyone who comes.
We are a small business and we are very grateful for our customers, but we are a toy store and not a playground, and we must keep the merchandise in order.
Unfortunately, some people come and break, open, and even spill liquids on our merchandise, and part of my employees' responsibility is to keep the store in order and the merchandise in new condition.
We work hard every day and we have many clients who come all the time.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience. But please don't jump to conclusions and make false comments.
**Final note: a majority of this person's reviews are negative.
