If you choose to adopt from them, consider that the child you want may have been stolen from their family by racist policies.

This agency has been amazing in their care and attention during our foster care journey. They really care about the people they work with. i highly recommend them if you’re looking to start a foster or adopt journey of your own. Their local office is small but mighty.

My name is Keila. I am the sister of Valerie Garcia. My nephew was adopted out as a small infant when my sister was under the age of 18. She was coerced by this adoption agency to adopt out her baby. They used terms like "You are unfit to be a parent ", "Your child would be better off with another family"...etc. This is emotional abuse and using fear to manipulate the decision of struggling young mothers, that really may just require some counseling and better assistance. I feel genuinely outraged because I've never gotten the opportunity to meet my blood, my first nephew. He has a strong group of aunts, uncles, and many cousins in his age group that would absolutely love to have him around and get to know him. DO NOT TRUST BETHANY "CHRISTIAN" SERVICES. Young mothers, mothers in need beware. No one should have to endure what my sister and family has with this incredible loss.

Becoming a foster parent is a challenging decision. The staff at Bethany helped us walk through the process smoothly and will a great deal of attention to all of our questions. The staff there have a great deal of experience and understanding of the child welfare system, working with counties, and all of the issues that come up as a foster parent. Several of their staff have been foster parents themselves and have adopted through the foster care system, so they have a deep and personal understanding of everything involved. They are very welcoming and treated us like members of their tribe immediately. They don't behave like a giant bureaucracy and we didn't ever feel like a "number". We've been fostering for a few years now and it has been an amazing life changing thing. There are so many kids out there in Colorado who need good people to take care of them and help them with their trauma until they can go back home or find a good permanent place to live. The staff at Bethany are so positive about this work and helping people.
