She over charged us for contractor work, was unable to provide invoices for the contract work despite multiple requests, and then added a 20% commission for herself on top of the inflated charges. We recently replaced a broken piece of glass that she had cut for us to protect a piece of furniture. She originally charged us $350 plus commission (20%) for the glass to total $420 plus tax on our final bill with her. Total cost to replace the same glass (several years laterafter inflation) from the same source was $150. Additionally, I had over 150 emails from her and her employees throughout the course of the decorating process that consisted of a single room. The project took 5 months. And the wall of bookshelves in the room still looked terrible after she arranged them. It was insane. Also attempted to charge me $125 for the service of hammering 5 nails in to the wall of the room. Plus commission and tax, of course. She seems to have found a way to hide negative reviews, as I was able to find some on less popular websites but not in google or yelp. Beware.

We contracted with them for a complete remodel of our basement. Pam was amazing with the design and styles used. Everyone that worked on our house was professional, competent, and helpful. They were able to create a space our family loves to use. We highly recommend Poonam's by Design for your home.

Saw this designer on TV and contacted to compliment design. Too many miles apart to hir unfortunately.
