La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Denver Aurora Medical

We stayed at this La Quinta because our usual hotel was fully booked since the Rockies were playing, and Taylor Swift (ugh!) was in town for the weekend. Check-in was nice, and the front desk folks were very nice! The room, however, had been WAY oversprayed with a sickeningly powerful odorant, probably to cover the musty smell of a slightly wet carpet. The bathroom was very musty (funky!!!) smelling, but otherwise clean. We also had to call the front desk for towels that they quickly brought up. We had to sleep with the window fully open with the security lights streaming in and the very loud highway noise from I-225, just so we could breathe! Breakfast was pretty standard with steamed, scrambled eggs, sausage, a variety of breads, two waffle irons, and plenty of juices, coffee, and milk. It was reasonably good and filliing. We find it hard to recommend this hotel, but it would probably do if you only had to stay one night, like us.

I It was a very good experience to stay here! The hotel is magnificent. Excellent service. The rooms are clean and have a wonderful smell. I highly recommend it to everyone.

There was a theft in our room and there was no favorable response from the hotel, they simply distanced themselves from the problem without even giving an apology and made an additional charge.
