    It was nice to work with a small company vs big box store for countertops. I worked with Ali. Ali is what I wish every company would strive to have from a customer service standpoint. Not "salesy", informative, responsive, etc.

    I cannot recommend this business to my clients any longer. The countertops are always decent, not perfect. They cut corners. Babu is always resistant, making excuses or absent if a problem shows up. Doesn't check up on contractors he hires. Check BBB first. Very, very, very disappointed this time... Babu responded to this review. Didn't take responsibility for anything. In fact, the promised work was never completed satisfactorily. No extra work was ever part of it. I watched the entire process. Zero attention to details. The response is typical. "Not our fault.". Excuses do not make things right. I can sleep at night. The response from Stone City was full of mis- truths. They do a decent job of installing countertops. Hire lackluster contractors, do not fix errors. Stone City responded to my amended review. Look. It doesn't do me any good to refer clients to businesses that don't perform well. I remodel/repair homes to make a living and I leave some things to others. Babu said he had someone that could install cabinets ahead if his countertops, because I was unavailable. The work was done poorly and my client is now paying me to fix the errors Stone City made. Dishwasher was installed improperly both electrically and plumbing-wise. The leak would have caused significant damage to the client's basement had i not found it. No detail was addressed. Sloppy, sloppy work. Do you really want me to detail every shortcut or error? Stone City will eventually have to deal with another complaint to the BBB. Thing is, I care about my clients. Stone City does not care about much.

    I hired Stone city to complete a remodel of my kitchen. Specifically cabinets and countertops. While it started off as a pleasant interaction, it went downhill quickly. The general contractor that was hired for my project cut corners, which ultimately resulted in bad plumbing which caused a leak into my basement that stone city refused to take care of, dishwasher not being mounted correctly into the countertop and dings and scratches on my brand new cabinets that required touchup paint that just did not give that finished look and a cabinet that was put installed incorrectly. The GC also broke a baseboard and stone city refused to replace it. Babu does not oversee the work of his GC so youre often having to send messages through WhatsApp and wait for him to contact you. The only time I could get adequate response from Stone city was when it was related to payment. I sent a letter to their office prior to the completion of my job trying to resolve these matters, and my letter was ignored, as well as multiple text messages outlining the issues I was experiencing. I would caution you on using stone city for any services outside of countertops . If you do, I encourage you to review BBB and ensure that Babu is there every day to oversee the work.

We even were given more work to be done and we finished it exactly to the schedule we have given to the customer.So thank you very much for referring the customer.Hi Patrick, we are not sure what you are trying to get at, as the job is completely finished, not sure why you are doing all this, maybe there is something that we are missing, if you have any questions, pls. feel free to contact me at 303-522-1122 or pls. share your number and I will share all the job completion pictures. Google does not give an option to share pictures when we are replying. We have nothing to hide as we have done more work than we started with, maybe you are not aware of it (more cabinets were ordered) and have taken care of the customer once the warranty items from the manufacturer arrived along with the additional cabinets and trims that were ordered.We are certainly missing something here as we have been doing our work for almost 22yrs and have taken care of thousands of customers.If you have any personal problem with us that we are not aware of pls. let us know as we really do not know what is going on here.Thank you

Hi Tisha, thank you very much for your feedback, but we would have appreciated if you had given the whole true picture rather than sharing the information and pictures of the job that was in progress.We do have all the job completion pictures to share with anyone who would like to see them. Google does not allow to post pictures during reply.If we were doing such a bad job, then we don’t understand why we were given more work and more cabinets were ordered and increased the scope of work.Our scope of work did not have all the appliance installations and plumbing to begin with, when you mentioned that your contractor could not do that we stepped in to take care of that after your approval.The dishwasher water line that you provided was faulty and is the reason for the minor leak which was clearly explained to you and we ourselves purchased a new line and changed it. When we installed the line and tested there were no leaks, this was tested and shown to your husband, when he was curious to see how we fixed the electrical problem you had with the dishwasher and disposal. You did not even reimburse for all the parts that we paid for.Also you never let us know about the electrical issues you had for the Dishwasher and the Disposal, you conveniently pushed it on to us and said that we have to take care of it, though we had nothing to do with it, we still took care of it as a good customer service, for that also you did not even cover the material cost.As it was clearly explained in our mutually chosen mode of communication (WhatsApp) where we communicated the dates of arrival of the new cabinets and the accessories that were ordered due to changes made while the work was in progress to cover the old floor gaps (which has nothing to do with our work, as you mentioned your contractor would take care of it) to complete the job and gave you the timelines of the material arrival clearly.Once the new materials came in, we finished the job and all the extra work on the same day and took pictures of the whole job after your (you and your husband) approval.When we asked for payment you and your husband mentioned that we will be paid in full the next day and to our surprise the next day you dropped off a check at our office front desk, not a word with us and gave a substantially less amount than what was owed to us.When we approached you about the matter, you just said you did not want to discuss any more about it.We were told that a letter was sent by certified mail which we never received, maybe you can track it as you should be having the tracking number and see where it was delivered, because we never received one and as we were communicating clearly in WhatsApp (the mutually agreed mode of communication) we never had any idea a letter was sent to us until your husband mentioned on the final day of our work.Anyhow, thank you very much for your feedback, as we take all the feedback very seriously and try to improve our work wherever we can to provide a better service to our customers.
