Ken was absolutely wonderful. He inspected gutters, downspouts, our basement, drain areas, etc. He was at our house for 2 hours and suggested waterproofing solutions. He drew diagrams to help explain water flow systems. He suggested that we call back anytime if we had additional questions or concerns. He was professional, friendly, and someone I would recommend to friends and family.

Ken, We cant express how much we appreciate everything you have helped us with and are so happy to have this behind us. Its rare to find an honest person these days especially when it comes to fixing house issues so we are incredibly fortunate to have found you. We have never worked with a contractor who puts in the amount of detail and care to their work and we are so excited to not have to think of water again. If you are experiencing water in your basement Ken is the person to call. He has years of experience and knowledge under his belt and takes the time to educate you so you know all the solutions. If you need someone you can trust look no further. He will save you $ and fix the problem.

We had been dealing with some flooding coming into our home due to a clogged drain pipe. Ken came in and fixed the issue quickly and efficiently! Were really happy with the quality of work and with all the rain coming into Denver we feel so at ease! Highly recommend, thanks Ken!

This is a long review, but I wanted to capture my entire experience. Everything Im writing here is true and accurate, and not influenced by anyone. Hire Dr. Dry! You absolutely wont regret it. What started out as a horrible experience from flooding and greedy plumbers, ended in a refreshing reminder that good people still exist. A few weeks ago, our basement completely flooded due to storms overwhelming our sump pump, burning out the motor, tripping the breaker, etc. The day after the flood, I could only find one plumber who had a sump pump and was available to install it. He came out, charged $950 and went on his way. I noticed the pump wasnt emptying the pit, so I contacted the plumber who said theyd come out the next day to take a look - they never showed. A week later, I checked on the new pump only to find the plumber had not replaced the corroded metal brackets on the black rubber pieces connecting the PVC pipe, and it had come lose, shooting water like a geyser out of the pipe and into my basement. Luckily I only had to redo the water remediation in one room. Not only that, but the pump I was charged $950 for was available online for around $250, so I feel I was taken advantage of due to the recent flood, supply and demand, etc. I went to home depot, bought a replacement part and a pump w/a battery backup that was more powerful. I had my handyman install the new pump. It worked for a week until both the main and backup pumps stopped working (luckily I caught it in time and went back to my set up of pond pumps attached to garden hoses draining into my bathtub). At this point, I found Dr. Dry and explained my situation. Thats when things started to get better. Ken called and asked me a bunch of questions that no one else had, and I could tell he was writing down what I was saying. He told me I had been through enough and he wanted to help, so he made time for me in his busy schedule. He came out a few days later, got my pump hooked up and working, explained not just his work to me, but the science behind sump pumps, charged me an incredibly fair rate, and left. I went down to check the pump, and it had stopped working again through no fault of Ken. He had done everything correctly, the issue was the pump. I called him right away, and he turned around and came back to investigate further. He spent more time installing another pump, which was working but just maintaining the water level. At this point he went outside in 80+ degree heat to check the exterior pipe and discovered it had a rock inside that was blocking the water from exiting the pipe. He cleared the blockage and everything started working the way its supposed to. In total, Ken fixed two leaks, replaced portions of my pipe, added a valve, cleared the blockage, replaced my old pump after trying to fix it (Im returning that pump due to a faulty control panel and not working overall), and he took the time to explain everything to me, came back immediately after I texted him, and charged me an incredibly fair price. The pride in his work is evident in every way, but especially in how he left the condition of my pump - cables neatly zip tied to the pipe, and he left the entire area in a much better condition than when he arrived. More than all of that, Ken treated me like a person and not a profit. He didnt have to do any of those things, and any other person would have charged me just for breathing the oxygen in my home as soon as they stepped in, but Ken is different. In a world where so many people are willing to take advantage of others just to make a quick dollar, Kens honesty is refreshing and his quality of work is superb. I cant think of enough good things to say about Dr. Dry. and how they came to my familys rescue in our time of need, without taking advantage of our situation. Thank you Ken, we cant express to you how grateful we are.

This is such a long overdue review. I work for Encol Construction. Encol hired Ken with Dr. Dry to install sump pumps in a project in Aurora that was having interior drainage issues that were affecting the foundation. Ken was incredibly responsive and clear to our objectives. If we had concerns he was open to hearing them. He was prompt and at a fair price. If Encol ever needs his services again, he will be hired!

WoW, I was hoping for five stars… now you’re making a contractor blush, 😊Thank you very much Marcus. I hear stories everyday of insanely high prices. Rates that are double, triple what they should be and it just reminds me of why Dr. Dry was born… to do the right thing regardless of how big your house is or what’s in the driveway. Simply treat people with respect, help people out, and if there’s a price attached… keep it fair.Thank you for contacting Dr. Dry, THANK YOU for the amazing review… and thank you again for the fantastic Horchata! 👍
