The faculty here saved my life. I don't want to put names out because I don't want to publicize that and highly respect the privacy that they showed me. But I do want to take a moment to say that every single person of this staff is part of the reason that I'm living and breathing today and I will forever be grateful to them for that.

Nice that they bully intagonize and make suicidal people make attempts and that's why I've talked to a few feds who said they will be dealt with who cost a disabled person their life. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Perfect abusers and have fun being investigated and thank you for the abuse and permanent damage really appreciated and they wonder why no one trusts them. I hope the family who lost their child has them shut down

I recently reached out to Colorado Crisis Services for support and guidance during a difficult time in my life. Unfortunately, my experience with the listeners was less than satisfactory. I have had multiple encounters where the listeners made inappropriate comments and comparisons, making me feel uncomfortable and judged. It was inappropriate when one person made medically unfounded claims, like stating that GMOs cause cancer. This kind of misinformation has no place on a support line. In another instance, a listener implied that my struggles were more serious than hers and even went as far as to compare herself to me. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Another listener suggested that there may be something physically wrong with me that causes people to stare, which came off as rude and insensitive. I did not appreciate being judged and belittled in this manner. Moreover, I have noticed a trend of the listeners taking sides and believing what doctors say over my own words. This is highly concerning as it undermines my own experiences and feelings. In one particular incident, a listener laughed at my situation and even defended my abuser. I felt judged and dismissed, which only added to my distress. I have also encountered listeners who spoke to me condescendingly and rudely, making me feel bullied and intimidated. This is not the kind of support I was seeking when reaching out to Colorado crisis services. Overall, my experiences with the listeners at Colorado Crisis Services have been disappointing and unhelpful. I had hoped to find a safe and non-judgmental space to share my struggles, but unfortunately, I was met with insensitive comments, rude behavior, and a lack of empathy. I urge the organization to train its listeners on how to provide appropriate and professional support to those in need. I believe the warm line would benefit from additional training on active listening, avoiding harmful comparisons, and sticking to reliable information within the scope of emotional support. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because people calling in deserve a respectful and supportive experience.
