UCHealth Gynecologic Oncology Clinic - Anschutz Medical Campus

Huge storm, left a 1/2 hour early, still it took me over an hour. I left a message and I spoke to someone who said I have a 15 minute grace period and I hustled from the parking spot, I was 1 minute late and she wouldnt see me. No one waiting, unreal. Nature got in the way but with this kind of service, its no wonder the rating is so low. So disappointed to have to start over. It is what it is.

I've spent almost 3 decades working in medicine, so I'm intimately familiar with the way things should and should not go in healthcare. My wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in February. That's when we were emergently sent to UC Health. Dr. Jill Alldredge was assigned to her, and for that we are eternally grateful. Dr. Alldredge has as impressive a bedside manner as I've ever seen. Clinically and surgically Dr. Alldredge has been equally as amazing. We couldn't be happier with the care we've gotten.

I have seen 8 different specialists who told me to see this office. We talked to the doctor who stared at me and told me they were not the person who we needed to see. When we asked for the manager they gave us a head nurse who didn't do anything. We asked again for a manager who looked us in the face and said there was nothing she could do and that we needed to leave. We asked for her boss and she said she was calling security to remove us from the premises. The security guards told us that they had told them that they had already asked for a supervisor to come see us, which didn't happen... another LIE. I would give them a 0 star if possible.

Horrible office. I spoke with the nurse a week prior to our appointment and filled her in on our special and emergent needs. She assured me she would brief the doctor to be prepared. Upon arrival, the doctor walked in and the first and only thing she said, was "I can't help you." And then, "Goodbye." We waited 4 weeks for the appointment, drove 1.5 hours to get there, and she knew the week before we were coming that she was not going to do anything for us. In fact, my daughter has been a patient at UC Children's for 7 years...so they have every last record and could have known immediately upon making the appointment if they would help her, and they did not. And then when we asked for a supervisor, she became very condescending and called security. The office manager refused to try to get someone to help us see another doctor, and refused to contact her supervisor, and refused to tell us to whom we could talk to try to get help. She called security to shut us up. Three very large security officers came and escorted us out of the building and told us that we were not welcome back and not allowed to go next door to the regular gyn office to try to see someone. I am still in shock that this whole horrible, nightmare experience happened. And for whomever responds to this post from UC Health gives another generic post, we have already contacted patient advocacy, asked to come see them in person while we were on campus, denied that, and told they would look into it, which could take 48 hours for a response. MEANWHILE my daughter is STILL VERY SICK, with NO help from UC Health at Anschutz at all. Do not see this office and do NOT see Dr. Lefkowitz. Two weeks later, no response from UC Health whatsoever. And another specialist has discovered that an artery is clamped from the oncology surgery, something this doctor blatently MISSED.
