Cayton's Sweets

I had a friend who ordered from this place and I tried a piece of the cake and it was absolutely disgusting. So dry and I had found a long piece of hair in the cake. How can this place be allowed to operate under these conditions. I am going to notify the BBB as Cayton's Sweets should not be allowed to make such disgusting cakes and possibly not be wearing the proper equipment like gloves or hair coverings. I will never order anything from this place and hope that people reading this don't as well. My friend will also be reporting this company to the BBB! Doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Hello everyone! I'd like to say idk what this other review is saying I've ordered from her 10 times now, and her baking is TO DIE FOR OMG!! I have never had any cakes, ,cookies, or cupcakes that can compare to Cayton Sweet's! Hats off to her. she's a one woman show as well so it's all her personally done work and recipes, BRAVO!

I called about 10 days before I needed a cake for my sons birthday. I was informed it would be no problem and she was excited to do it. The night before I was to pick up my sons cake I got a email at 8:00 pm saying she had pneumonia and was not comfortable with handling food and giving it to her customers. I was disappointed but totally understood. However, the day I was suppose to pick up my sons cake I noticed on Facebook she was advertising to have people come pick up cupcakes she made that day. I also noticed she made a cake for another customer. I was truly disappointed and would not trust Caytons Sweets.

I started communicating on 11/22 for a cake I needed on 12/26. I was told this would be no problem at all. I checked in the week before and again, no problem and we decided on 1:00 pm for a pick up time. At 10:45 on the day of pickup, I was given a lengthy excuse of being up all night and over sleeping and it wouldnt be ready until 230 or 3. Reluctantly, I told her I could make 2:30 work. Didnt hear back. At 1:30, another long excuse about her husband and someone throwing away a piece of equipment and now it wouldnt be ready until 4. At this point, I told her we had a party starting at 3:30 and to cancel my order because it would no longer work for me and to please refund my deposit. She had refunded part of my deposit but refuses to refund the full amount, because she sent me a picture and we decided on a flavor. I would absolutely NOT recommend ordering from her if you want your cake on time!
