Garden Plaza

I cant say enough good things about Garden Plaza! I have partnered with them for the past few years and it has been a pleasure . From the Sales team, Executive Director, Wellness Director, Life Enrichment Director and to the Resident Care Coordinator, all the staff there are incredibly caring and take pride in what they do. Every time Im in there, they are always doing something with and for the residents. The residents are so happy to be there and it shows that they are in good hands!

Edit to Update: The executive director of the facility reached out to me, apologized for the interaction and mentioned she would do some extra education. She also let me know something very important to my visit and was very helpful when it came to the protocols. I had a friend who moved into this retirement home recently, and I've never been to a retirement home on my own before, so I called to see if there was any protocol for visitors - I spoke with Rebecca and had a very strange interaction. When I asked what the protocol was I was told not to show up in the middle of the night (not something I was ever planning on doing) and then if I asked if I would need to be on a list in order to visit someone I was told that "this is not a prison". I was just trying to understand what I would need to do and was assuming there may be some rules in place to protect residents. This was a very off putting interaction, and I felt like I was being scolded.

I used to briefly work here in the assisted living when Courtney and Tina were there and things were awful from day one. I was instructed by the tina at the time to come in on whatever day it was to do training and I show up and nobody had any idea I was coming in and got treated really awful from Courtney and the staff because of the fact that they had no idea. I eventually left because of Courtney and I didn't like how I got treated from her and the rest of the staff there.
