Too bad I can't give zero stars. If you love your elder that needs care, don't allow them to entrust these people with their care. I didn't know any better and my Dad is now gone and I can't have him back. And they neglected him and took away his dignity. He was a generous man that never treated anyone the way he was treated. I will never forget that he died from an infection that could have been treated if someone had just cared enough to do the minimum they promised him. I will never stop speaking out for him and other seniors that are victims of their poor care.

I wish you could give negative stars! Please do not leave your loved one in their care. I am absolutely heartbroken as my children's father passed away a few days ago. He had joined Innovage with the hopes of receiving good quality care. I am stunned at how quickly his health declined after joining. In the amount of time he was with them he went to the hospital no less than five times and three times at rehab facilities. Many things that hospitalized him could have been prevented had they been on top of lab work and hygiene. He acquired many infections that should have been diagnosed much earlier than they were. He had to literally beg for a shower. He went several weeks without any kind of hygiene because they were "to busy". He ended up in septic shock from two very dangerous infections getting into his blood. These infections are what ultimately caused his death. Yes, he did have many things wrong with him which should have caused them to at least monitor his values and run lab work periodically. Please please go elsewhere with your family.

A big thank you to the team at Innovage Aurora. I went with my Dad for an ER follow-up and everyone we met was amazing. The front desk, people at the Clinic and Kurt were caring and helpful. The doctor was thorough and attentive. He answered all my Dad's concerns and questions. I feel that my Dad is in good hands. -Nina

Every comment I've read talks about lack of communication between department in INNOVAGE and yet nothing is ever done with that problem still exist today. Plus I called to talk to the doctor about my mom's medicine which she has now been without her pain medication since Friday and the Friday before was when I called had a male nurse say he would talk with the doctor and call me back never heard from anyone and no pain medication done. They took her off a very strong pain patch and expect that 4 times a day by pill is enough to cover her pain which it doesn't. I had a male I think therapist call and talk to me about railings on my mom's bed but haven't heard from him and that's another one I've tried to reach because the ones we have are probably 15 yrs old. So INNOVAGE get these things people are complaining about done. Plus I don't know what my mom gets during her days with you which are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday except her showers on Monday and Wednesday. I feel you should have a comment thing that goes home with the person when they come to the facility and send it home with them. Also make sure that the patient has a coat on before leaving and coming home. I'm tired of my mom getting colds because they send her home with wet hair on cold days and her coat either on the back of wheelchair or just thrown over her front.

I would give them a zero if I could. The only positive is the home health nurse Jean and a social worker. People are very rude and they lie. Communication is awful. They claim to be full service for the elderly and are not. If you can go in they are ok but once you are homebound there's very little help for you at all. You can forget about getting any therapies. I would not recommend them to anyone.
