        As a long time local who had 2 babies delivered here, I was incredibly disappointed to learn when i called to make a payment of a disputed $1k charge that AVH had sent my bill a collection agency for non-payment where they never once made contact with me and i tried to call to pay 2x and sat on hold before being disconnected. You need to make contact with the person before doing this and have better payment capabilities. Not only are you overpriced with mediocre medical services, your customer support is terrible too. Take me off all lists and mailings to donate to your Hospital Foundation while you are at it. So disappointing.

        Staff was friendly and new hospital is nice but the administration is horrific. I was lied to by the front desk person who later admitted she lied in front of her co-workers. It was sickening. I was later forced to sign paperwork and the front desk also refused to explain what my future costs might be. I wrote several detailed letters to their PR company and one directly to CEO Dave Ressler and got no response. Shameful.

        Billing department separate from hospital fraudulent practices be warned they will send a bill to debt collectors and never use your insurance even after they claimed they did also they wont send you the bill it just goes straight to the collectors I will be filing a complaint asap do to using this hospital again they have wronged countless individuals and locals in this valley! please elsewhere for quality medical assistance or go to Denver !

        I had severe vomiting & abdominal cramping. Visiting in Aspen had a PPO Ins., went to AVH. They performed an appendectomy- symptoms only got worse after returning home. Was at AVH from midnight til 4:30 in the afternoon.. $36,000. bill GI Drs. back home said, they missed it - didnt think I needed the surgery - filed a grievance- nothing came of that. Insurance refused to pay- have been making regular payments - billing dept. turned me into collections. Disappointing on so many levels -
