I had an Insurance agent/agency for over 40 years. Which retired their agency and my long term agent and his family members. My insurance accounts were transferred to another agency and agent which I've now had for several years. This seemed to be just fine until the purchase of a new vehicle this past January. We purchased the new car on a Friday night. I called Saturday morning leaving a message about this new car to make sure the agent knew I had it and the insurance coverage was continuous. Thus I called the insurance provider's company and was told electronically I would have to contact my agency directly for coverage. After receiving no call back by 9 am Monday morning I called the agency again only being able to leave only another recorded message. So, I called my insurance provider's company again and wait on the phone to discussed the situation with a live phone representative. Where I was told once again I would have to talk directly with my agency before coverage protection could be assured. After lunch with no call back from my agency. I called their number again and got an agency representative on the phone. I asked why no call back was made to me from an agency's representative and was told "they were just too busy to call me back." I accepted this response and talked to this representative for 30 to 45 minutes asking for my account and coverage to be reviewed as my vehicles policy was due almost 2 months in the future. I updated all my personal and family information with the representative asking for a call back before the new auto policy came into effect. After over 5 weeks of waiting for this call back that never happened, I looked on my insurance provider's company website for other agencies in my area and picked one. My phone call was answer immediately and I was connected to Stephen at the TAG-RH Agency. Stephen took his time with gathering all my information and insurance coverages. I was next emailed a similar policy from a different insurance provider company who coverages were more expensive than what I already had. So, after a discussion with Stephen I switch my current company's policies to his Agency so he could personally reviewed all my coverages and what actions if anything I should be taking. This process with Stephen was excellent. I am also now more comfortable that my insurance needs will be better looked after, without his agency or himself becoming to busy to return my urgent phone calls for service. Thanks for your excellent customer service Stephen and I look forward to this fine service well into my insurance needs and coverages futures.
