Lived their for two years always payed rent .. when it came time to move I made sure to clean up very well and through living there I had hooked up his dead weeds and dirt n the backyard to grass and bark and Then also left my two hundred dollar a.c. in the house because his handyman put it in so tight I couldn't get it out.. so I wait for my deposit back thinking I did a good job and would b returned in full...Nope took him 3 weeks to get it to Me and with a note saying he had to do 30 hours of cleaning plus mandatory carpet cleaning and mandatory lock changes.. so I went from 900 to 200 and he came up on my a.c. ... 30 HOURS OF CLEANING YA RIGHT!

Though perhaps what one would expect from an economically and socially backwards area like Yreka, CA; Mr. Harrison and those he hires to support and maintain the properties he manages are so unsophisticated as to be almost useless. If you are considering moving from out of the area and renting from Charles Harrison dba Harrison Apartments, please thoroughly consider all other options. Especially consider whether requiring hours of phone calls and office visits and pointless home visits to remedy simple problems that **should** have been known to the property owners and property manager had they been of a basic level of competence. Now, note that I am not saying that Harrison Apartments is doing anything illegal. Rather that Charles Harrison is simply doing nothing to make the lives of his tenants easier. Consider that he does not have e-mail or use the Internet... For any business owner in 2004 that is questionable. For one a decade later, it is shameful. I really encourage anyone considering renting from Mr. Harrison to fully consider their options.
