Blessed Smile Dentistry of Yorba Linda

Just back from a real dentist who diagnosed me with stage 2 periodontal disease.  This disease has been progressing for years and I didn't know.  When I visited  Blessed Smile Oct. 2019, x-rays were taken, I spoke with the dentist, my teeth were cleaned.  I was told everything was fine, no problems.  It was not and is not.  Had periodontal disease been properly diagnosed in late 2019, my outcome would be far better now.  If you value your mouth health, do not go there.

Clean, pleasant, but poor patient advocate. Refused to perform any of the items covered by insurance. Can't do a cleaning, you need a DEEP cleaning with lasers! This is money hunting and a disservice. I am certainly no where needing a "deep cleaning". I need a standard cleaning. Her quotes on dental work I do need are 3x other quotes I've received. Will not return. Waste of my time. Very disappointed. Feels extremely dishonest.

Blessed Smile came highly recommended from a friend, and I am very glad to have chosen them as my new dentist. Shoutout to Teresa was so helpful. I had a big mess with my dental insurance before scheduling my appt and she went above and beyond to help me get that all squared away. Dr Park is a very friendly guy and he was gentle with my teeth. He uses the newest technology, and I feel like Im getting the best care.

Their presence on social media is misleading, beware. I eagerly awaited my appointment with Dr. Park to discuss a cosmetic treatment advertised on their social media platforms. I will say that the front desk and dental assistant were exceptional and extremely accommodating. However, my meeting with Dr. Park was disappointing and only reinforced why many experience anxiety before dental appointments. Dr. Park made me feel extremely foolish for requesting cosmetic treatment, and he lacked strong verbal communication skills.   I had never before encountered a dentist so uninterested in meeting with a potential new patient. I really regret having entered. I have extensive dental insecurity due to grinding issues, and I left this doctor's office feeling even more insecure and hopeless about my teeth.  Dr. Park claims that I have two handfuls of cavities, despite the fact that my primary dentist examined my teeth regularly. I will consult with my primary dentist regarding my visit to Dr. Park's office. Also, a message to Dr. Park from myself, a mental health clinician: when you inquire about a client's mental health disorders, have the courtesy of how you ask, and refrain from having an insensitive and insincere attitude. No, I would never recommend this dentist.
