I made an appointment online, I was given a confirmation call the day before and upon arrival for the appointment NOBODY IS THERE! I waited 30 min, I call in and the rudest person Ive ever talked to named Amanda in Modesto says that location is closed until Saturday! JH lost a 10+ yr customer. Never will I refer anyone or go through this location ever again.

Regional Management have some serious issues that need attention. Local management obviously does not care because this is the third year in a row of JH ridiculous service. Why I keep giving them chances, I do not know! If someone actually shows up for your appointment, they aren't licensed tax preparers. They put a person, who is still in training, to sit in a booth and get yelled at by people who are expecting to have their taxes filed. No wonder they consistently don't have  JH employees show up for appointments. I made an appointment with Debbie, and she told me there were appointments available in Woodland Wal-Mart. I expressed my concern regarding no-shows and she assured me someone would be there. Well,  someone was there, and poor guy. He was nice and upfront that he wasn't authorized to actually file my taxes. He did try to get someone to do it remotely, and also tried to set up a drop off. Alas, he didn't have what he needed to do that. This happened to us last year too. I don't blame those not fully trained yet.  Seems they are there just so a higher up person is able to say we have a body in the booth. Those in the booth take the brunt of JH's fallout. Those in charge need to step up. It's painfully obvious this is an upper management issue.

Very well taken care of, very experienced individual, Dont let the location inside Walmart throw you off Ill go back.
