        Friendly waitress.....friends ordered a Cobb Salad, Cinnamon French Toast which were tasty. My order of a Baked Potato came with bacon and cheese which I ordered to leave off. Quickly corrected.

        I ordered the Prime Rib. I came out looking like cardboard. I ordered it rare and there was absolutely no pink, just gray all the way through. The cook had the waitress tell me that is as rare as they can serve it. Of course I sent it back. I love Black Bear but I will never go back to the Willows restaurant.

        Outstanding diner food. I was sitting at the counter and watched all the food as it came up, it all looked delicious. I ordered the Shasta burger, it was a good call on my part. It was one mighty tasty burger.

        Poor poor poor service. Its pretty sad to see a restaurant slowly tank because their servers are terrible. Go anywhere else.

      In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Today, we continue their mission at every Black Bear Diner across the country, as we passionately provide guests an outstanding experience.
