The owner of TCI Development, Paul Taylor, went above and beyond our expectations. We had recently purchased a property and immediately started noticing water intrusion. What started as a few drops of water pooling on the floor eventually led to sections of our ceiling collapsing on a Sunday afternoon. That evening I began researching and emailing companies that could potentially assess and fix the damage. Early Monday morning Paul Taylor contacted me and was at our property within a few hours. The damage was extensive and we had to vacate the property for almost a year. During that time Paul kept us informed and documented everything that he discovered was failing with the property. Had it not been for his commitment to determine why our house was literally collapsing we would have been living in a house that was not safe to reside in. We had unknowingly been exposing ourselves to black mold, methane gas, electrical fires, failing support beams, termites and other substandard work that had been done to the property prior to our purchase that was not code compliant. He determined a non permitted addition wasn’t attached to the main structure property and that the 16,000 pounds of decorative stone added by the seller was causing the property to shift. The seller ( and seller’s real estate agent) had not disclosed vital and critical information about the property when we purchased. Paul Taylor kept peeling back the layers of previous shoddy workmanship and fully restored our home to a safe and livable condition. Without his 100% commitment to his clients, commitment to quality, integrity and knowledge of his trade my family’s safety and health would have been further compromised. I’ve thanked God many times for directing my steps the day I needed to find a contractor to lead the way through the nightmare we were living since purchasing this house. My husband and I highly recommend TCI Development and Paul Taylor. From the initial contact to the last day of the job your expectations will be met. Services: Project management, Demolition, Flooring, Tile fitters, Drywall repair, Floor fitting, Flooring repair, Drywall installation, Tile replacement, Interior decorating, Remodelling, TV mounting, Refurbishment, Water fixture installation, Water fixture repair

Most BEAUTIFUL Pool!!! Taylor Construction Industries (TCI) absolutely exceeded our expectations in how our pool turned out- actually TCI exceeded our expectations with the whole experience from start to finish. Having a high level of attention to detail myself, I knew it was going to be tough to find a pool builder that could match my expectation of craftsmanship. However, Paul Taylor and his team at TCI were able to create an innovative pool that surpassed our ideas, all while staying within our budget. From the initial meeting to this day, their customer service is top-notch. TCI was always in communication with us and never missed one scheduled appointment for work during our build. Paul went above and beyond EVERY step of the way! Certainly one of the best contracting experiences we have ever had. Needless to say, we are extremely happy with our BEAUTIFUL pool and have received many compliments. Thank You, Paul and Taylor Construction Industries (TCI)!!!!!!!

Paul and his sub contractors did an approx $35,000 job updating our whole house. Paul and his subcontractors did bamboo floors throughout, carpet in three bedrooms, redid the stairway, painted the entire inside of house to include the ceilings, painted Facia and trim outside, renovated kitchen/living area with new cupboard doors, paint, counter and island tops redone, installed farmhouse sink, custom shelving, custom island lip, custom reclaimed wood fireplace mantle, amazing wood backsplash throughout the kitchen and battled with two layers of poorly done tile to get it to original concrete which he touched up and stained. He also did electrical, baseboards and reframed entry ways that looked old and outdated. Im probably missing aspects of the remodel but Paul and his crew were total professionals in every aspect of this job. He's extremely responsive and will always provide an estimate that is accurate and fair. I am currently having him do more work in our house because of the quality of how the first couple phases of the remodel came out. Complete professional, personable and trustworthy contractor. I would highly recommend TCI Developers for any job that you might have.

We had a house fire on August 31, 2010. It was considered a total rebuild because even though the fire started in the garage, it spread into the attic. From the fire, water and soot the house had to be rebuilt from the ground up. It even damaged the cement in the garage, which had to be repoured. As the owner of the house and insurance policy we were able to choose our own contractor. We had four bids and TCI was not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but we liked his enthusiasm and take charge attitude, so we went with TCI owned by Paul Taylor. In the beginning everything was held up by the insurance company because they could not release the house until they determined the cause of the fire. So, it sat for 6 weeks before any demolition could begin. Once it was released they started demolition and clean up. That took awhile, but still something was happening on a daily basis. Paul kept the insurance company and all involved up to date every step of the way. Then Paul had the plans drawn up and approved. There were some glitches because so many codes had changed since the house was originally built in 1984. We found out at that time that we had to pay for code upgrades ourselves. Our insurance did not provide for that. Once we got plan approval, permits were then requested, which took our City until March 31, 2011 to release. I must say that Paul was on them like white on rice until he had the permit in his hands. Once we got the permit things started moving really fast. It almost seems like it all happened at once because if we were waiting for something, Paul would make sure everyone was working on something else. I can't recall the exact order but the Cement, Framing, Inspections, Wiring, Roofing, Plumbing, more Inspections, Electrical, Cable, Cabinets, Granite, Drywall, Painting, Doors, Trim and appliances all got done very quickly. All in all, if you are looking for a contractor, you will not go wrong with this company. Very professional people and th ey made a very difficult situation easier. Description of work: TCI rebuilt our entire house. The foundation was repaired and re-poured in certain areas. They framed the entire house and garage. Installed Electrical, Air conditioner, Heater, Water Heater, Appliances, gas lines & Plumbing. Updated house to current codes. Ordered inspections in a timely manner so they didn't hold us up. Did drywall, insulation and texturing of walls. Changed roof line to be updated and more energy efficient. Made all the doorways he could handicap accessible. Painted entire house inside and out. Did sprinkler system and landscaping to front and back yards. Worked with us very closely and offered his opinions without being pushy. Whenever a question was asked, he gave us an honest answer and often had suggestions that we had not thought of. Stayed within budget and told us up front if our ideas were going to cost more than alloted. TCI worked with our insurance company if there were any discrepancies as to what was covered or not. What really impressed us with TCI was the degree of integrity that they demonstrated. It was obvious that the subcontractors also trusted TCI and everyone worked well together. There wasn't anyone that wasn't friendly and easy to work with.
